Brian’s Memorial Day Weekend Blog Candy Giveaway

I love to share Stampin’ Up!’s products with my blog readers, team members and customers. Today, I’m happy to share a super-fun Blog Candy Giveaway today with one lucky blog reader.

Blog Candy Giveaway

This holiday weekend, I’m sharing two brand new products from Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog that are perfect for this time of year (and I know you’re going to love them). I purchased these new items but never got around to using them. With only a month to go before they are retired, I figure I should share them with you.

Here’s a look at the products I am sharing with you today:

Brian's Blog Candy Giveaway, May 28 2022Here’s what’s included in this bundle of goodies:

  • Home & Garden Bundle (includes Home & Garden Cling Stamp Set and coordinating Garden Dies
  • More Love Cling Stamp Set
  • Basic White Medium Envelopes

I’ll randomly select a winner on Monday evening – but you need to leave a comment to be included in the giveaway (more about that in a moment).

Why am I sharing these goodies?

Here’s a quick rundown of the reasons I’m sharing these wonderful products this weekend:

Memorial Day weekend is a time to remember and mourn veterans who’ve died while serving our country. As crafters, it’s a perfect time to make a card for the family members of lost veterans to let them know your appreciation of their lost family members. During the holiday weekend, many will honor fallen veterans with parades and special programs – and many will get together with family to celebrate the lives of those they love. Memorial Day also corresponds with the start of Summer, so it’s a time when many will grill out and do a little gardening.

The Home and Garden Bundle is a perfect accompaniment to the kickoff of Summer. Here’s a look:

Home & Garden Bundle, Stampin Up!The More Love stamp set is perfect for any time of year, but it’s especially perfect today. If ever there were a time when the phrase “The World Needs More Love Notes,” it’s right now. This is an elegant set that can turn a piece of paper into a beautiful cardfront with just one stamp. Here’s a look at this stamp set:

More Love, Stampin Up!To help you make some quick cards and get them in the mail, I’m also including a pack of Basic White Medium Envelopes – love these things!

Medium Envelopes, Stampin Up!Don’t tell anyone, but … if you win, I will through in some ribbons and embellishments to go along with the goodies I’m sending. ♥

  1. Taking walks alone or with friends to hear the birds singing is a favorite. My husband and I walk at different speeds and can’t walk together! Thanks, Brian, for your generous giveaway. Enjoy your day!

  2. My favorite activity this time of year is sitting on my porch in the morning and enjoying the beauty of my yard with the trees, birds, and occasional bunny rabbit. It is a wonderful start to the day!

  3. Barbara Lockard

My favorite activity on Memorial Day is our family cook-out! Because family gatherings have been scarce these past couple of years, I am really looking forward to this year. We also attend a brief but moving memorial ceremony at our local cemetery. Hope everyone is able to do their favorite thing this weekend. Thanks, Brian!

  4. My all-time favorite activity (year-round) is making and sending cards! But that’s usually an indoor activity, so… I’d say my favorite outdoor activity this time of year is getting my flower garden cleaned up, refreshed, and adding a few new pretty plants. Our season for blooming flowers is short here in Michigan, so I enjoy every minute of it that I can!

  5. I love working in my yard with my dog beside me.

  6. Hi Brian. In my younger days I use to love working in my garden. Also did some camping. You are really awesome for sharing this with someone .

  7. Love getting yard work done and planting FLOWERS…going to a family cookout, which this will be our 1st getting together since Covid and I can’t wait! Thanks for always sharing Brian, your amazing! Hope you do your favorite thing this weekend too!

  8. I use the long weekend to get my annuals planted. I also make my first of many trips to the outdoor pool.

  9. Walking, and sitting on my back deck reading and watching the birds. Thanks for the give away.

  10. My favorite outdoor activity this time of year is camping. Everything from the quiet night sounds in the country to finding a new flea market is my idea of a great vacation. We can sit around a campfire or shop for fresh vegetables at a farmers market. That’s my heaven on earth.

  11. Jean Bergenthal

My activity this time of the year is walking around neighborhood and checking out all the annuals, spring plants neighbors hav e planted. The yards look so fresh, grass so green. A renewed spirit.

  12. I love having a pool day with my grandsons. They love the water and it’s fun to watch them splash around.

  13. My favorite outdoor activity is a long run with my husband. I also like taking my kids to the playground.

  14. At this time of the year all my attention is focused on my garden – making sure I have planted enough tomatoes and cucumbers for my family and to share with neighbors and friends.

  15. What a generous giveaway! My favorite activity this time of year is walking on the beach!

  16. Thank you, Brian! My favorite activity is being in our pool. We live in AZ. Have a great weekend

  17. Well, this time of year it usually is yard & garden sprucing up time!! But, then you need to take the time to see all the “births” of new leaves on trees, birds busy with fledglings & the appearance of new growth with flowers & shrubs. Plus, you have to add in time for cooking outdoors & gathering with friends & family. We pray that our country will find it’s way to peace on earth!!

  18. Playing at the playground with grandchildren!

  19. BASEBALL!!! It wouldn’t be summer without baseball for my family. The sounds, smells and feel of being at a game are special to us.
Every summer we travel to see different parks. We’ve already been to more than half the parks around the country. This year we’re going to see four in the Midwest. Of course we’ve been to see our favorite teams more than once, the world champions Atlanta Braves and from my home town the Boston Red Sox.
Some baseball highlights for our family were traveling from California to Atlanta to see my daughter’s all time favorite player Chipper Jones retire and five years later going to Cooperstown, New York to see him inducted into the Hall of Fame. A really fun baseball trip for us was going to Iowa to go to the Field of Dreams (before they built the new field). I love summer baseball!

  20. I love being at the beach or around the pool with kids and grands – cooking, eating, telling stories, laughing and loving each other. However, that’s my favorite thing in every season.

  21. Ooooh my friend you are so generous , and such a giving friend ♥️

My favorite time of this month, is remembering our falling soldiers , I had a cousin that was going back with a full suit case of clothes for a little Vietnamese boy , and got ambush , and never got to deliver his gift to that little boy , that was 1966,
So sad , still heavy on my mine ,💔

    I thaught I’d share ,
    Hugs Frenchie ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

  22. Sipping an iced coffee while sitting on the patio with my dog on weekend mornings — it’s the BEST outdoor “activity” when the temperatures frequently soar over 100°F in the Central San Joaquin Valley (Calif.) during the summer. Thank you, Brian, for your generosity in sharing such great Stampin’ Up products! I love your color combinations and designs!

  23. Pulling weeds, yes I do love to pull weeds and get all my flower gardens ready for summer enjoyment. Brian, I so enjoy reading your blog. You are so funny.🤗

  24. Working in the garden. I love to go out each day and see how much things have grown, make sure there are no weeds creeping in and enjoying the early morning sun. It’s fun watching the squirls chase each other in the oak trees and the birds dive bombing to grab fur for their nests. Cards will be prepared in the heat of the day, mornings are to cherish

  25. I have the summer months off, so I love to sit on my front porch and drink my morning coffee and enjoy the nature around me. Relaxing!

  26. I love photographing the many gorgeous wildflowers, even if it means driving for an hour. the displays are spectacular.

  27. Robyn Prendergast

My favorite is RVing. We live in such a beautiful country. Love taking our RV to different places and just getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sitting around the campfire and enjoying conversation with my husband and son is priceless to me.

  28. Caroline Ridenour

Walking on the beach! Thanks for the giveaway!

  29. My favorite activity this time of the year is to walk in the sun and cool, gentle breeze. This is a real treat for me since I don’t walk well and have to stay indoors much of the time. In that case, I love to stamp!

  30. Gardening and seeing the perenials popping up in the yard.

  31. My favorite outdoors activity this time of the year is going to the beach, collecting seashells, watching for dolphins and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine with my hubby. Thank you for your generous giveaway. Enjoy your holiday weekend!

  32. It’s a toss up as to which I like more-riding my bike or swimming!

  33. This time of the year, I love to work out in the garden, sprucing up the flowers beds, so the home and garden bundle would be a nice gift to receive. Love your posts and card ideas!

  34. Gardening because spring gardening is the best while temps are still mild.

  35. Jumping in the pool! Florida sun is hot so there is no better way to cool off! Then a good BBQ in the evening!

  36. As you know I am newly retired so this is my first spring/summer to enjoy. I love snuggling with the pups out on the balcony and reading my morning devotional. I think the pups love it too.

  37. Mary Jane McNeill

Sitting on my front porch in the country and reading a great book in this beautiful Spring weather!

  38. My favorite is going to the lake. It’s so relaxing and it’s great to be surrounded by all the natural beauty of the outdoors.

  44. Gardening! Hands down my fave activity! I can’t wait til the soil warms up enough to dig(…& weed!). This is an awesome blog candy give away Brian.
    Thanks for all your inspiration!
    Sue
