With Father’s Day just around the corner, I am excited to share a few last-minute designs that might help you to make a quick-and-easy gift for the man (or men) in your life. Whether he’s your dad (or someone else’s dad) or a great man who deserves to be honored, he is certain to appreciate a gift card (or tightly folded wad of cash) in a Mini Pocket Envelopes. Here are three projects – three stamp-and-ink-free projects:
All three of these gift card holders were cropped with the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies, new in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog. Each assembled envelope measures approximately 2-3/8″ x 4″, which can be given by itself or inside another card you’ve made. Here’s a look at the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies:
With my Mini Pocket Envelope Dies, I cropped three envelopes with three pages from the He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper. I love that the dies allow us to see both sides of the selected paper – such fun! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the He’s the Man Designer Series Paper:
The sentiments on each of the envelopes is pulled from the same pack of papers. He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper includes 2 each of 5 double-sided patterns and 2 die-cut sheets with a wide variety of images and sentiments. A Closer Look
Each of the envelopes is designed for a particular type of man – the stylish man, the outdoors man and the car-loving man. There are certainly other kinds of men (I am not any of these), but these three cover a large number. Here’s a closer look at each of the envelopes, along with a few comments or notes about each:
The Stylish Man
I love the mix of glasses, ties and stars in this page – and that pairs well with the deep plaid pattern on the opposite side. I wrapped a torn-edge strip from the die-cut sheets around the envelope and wrapped it with black twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials. I framed the sentiment with a piece of Basic Black cardstock I cropped with a Layering Circles Die.
The Outdoors Man
Mint Macaron gives us a beautiful backdrop for this envelope. The campers and tents and campfires are so sweet on this paper. The sentiment is a die-cut from the He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper – it looks like it was designed to fit on one of these mini envelopes. I cropped an oval from the All That Dies and added Mint Macaron banners from the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies.
The Car-Loving Man
I intended for the cards to be front-and-center on this envelope, but I cut this one first (and from the wrong side of the paper). I liked the peek of cards from inside the envelope, so I left it alone. I added a 1″ band from the car side of the paper to hold the sentiment and accent the inside piece.
I hope you like these projects. Even if you don’t YET have this paper or these dies, I hope these simple projects inspire you to make something wonderful for the man in your life. Here’s a look at the products showcased in these projects:

Quick, easy and perfect timing for Father’s Day.
These were so fun to make, Mary! I played with a couple to see which I’d like the most and decided to just finish them all. 🙂
Really cute !! Loving the different themes . You could have a Tags/Jig Saw Puzzle one if you were to receive a little gift in one of these cute envelopes . I think I need to get this set since I give treats out often !
