Christmas Wishes with Leaves of Holly

I’m always giddy when a simply layout works well for a card. The card I’m sharing today isn’t complex and doesn’t take long to create, but I hope you like it as much as I do. Here’s the card I’m sharing with you today:

This card started with the Leaves of Holly Bundle, new in Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. The layered holly leaves and berries are beautifully simple together (and a wonderful symbol for Christmas), and I love the sweet, simple sentiment that I stamped directly on this Designer Series Paper background. Here’s a look at the Leaves of Holly Bundle:

I love this bundle! The star of the coordinating Holly Berry Dies is the gorgeous label with two holly leaves on one end. I used that die on the previously shared card below (you can click on the card to see my original post for this project):

Since the panel of red poinsettias comes from the coordinating Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper, you might think the Soft Sea Foam hollies on today’s card also come from this pack of papers. You thought that, didn’t you? Well, this gorgeous panel is actually from the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper, a “returning favorite” in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this pack of papers:

The holly leaves on my card are layered with two greens (Soft Sea Foam and Garden Green), and the holly berries are layered with two red (Real Red and Poppy Parade). Such beautiful combinations, don’t you think? Here’s a closer look:
