More Color Combinations with Rings of Nature Designer Series Paper

As we enter the second month of Stampin’ Up!’s two-month Sale-a-Bration, some of our Sale-a-Bration favorites are unorderable. The Soft Sea Foam & Pool Party note cards and envelopes were retired last month, and the Rings of Nature Designer Series Paper and Beautiful World Bundle are currently out-of-stock in the United States. Our reports say more of both of these will be received the week of August 8, but those restocks aren’t guaranteed. The Tree Lot Dies are also currently unavailable and listed with a TBD restock date.

For those who have picked up the Rings of Nature Designer Series Paper or have some on the way to them now (or may be able to pick some up later this month), I’m celebrating this pack of papers today.

I love to collect and use Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers. What a great way to find inspiration for our projects! The colors and patterns pair perfectly with other products we love. Since the Rings of Nature Designer Series Paper first debuted in Stampin’ Up!’s July-August 2022 Sale-a-Bration brochure, I have reached for it often. The beautiful mix of classic colors and patterns lend themselves to a variety of projects that are either playful or beautiful. I’m excited to share a bit more about this pack of papers today.

I often pull my colors right from the Designer Series Papers as a starter. That’s a huge benefit of our Designer Series Papers – they are designed with the amazing shades in our color families, so the pair perfectly with our cardstock, inks and accessories. Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper:

Rings of Love Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 159939 How fun are these images and colors?! The pack includes Crushed Curry, Evening Evergreen, Mint Macaron, Night of Navy, Parakeet Party, Petal Pink, Poppy Parade and Soft Suede. What a wonderful mix of colors!

Inspiration

I have really enjoyed working with the pages in the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper. I love the colors and imagery in the papers – a great mix for projects throughout the year! Here are some of my projects with the pages from the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper (you can click on each photo to read the original post about each project):

Sweet Gingerbread, Rings of Love Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian King, welcome card Lovely & Lasting, Rings of Love Designer Series Paper, Dots & Spots Die, Stampin Up!, Brian King Rings of Love Designer Series Paper, Scalloped Contours Dies, Painted Pheasant, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Thanksgiving card

There are some really great prints in this pack of papers – these are just three of my favorites, but all of these pages are really fun to play with – especially when you add other colors to the colors found in the papers. Today I’m going to share a couple more suggestions for pulling these colors right from the patterns in the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper.

Straight from the Papers

These colors are combined from the colors exclusively in this pack of the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper – such a great variety of colors in this pack of papers:

Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Night of Navy Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Parakeet Party, Poppy Parade, Night of Navy Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, Soft Suede

Combined with Other Colors

By adding one other color to the shades in these papers, you can really transform the feel of the pages – or create all new combinations with inspiration from the paper. Here are some color combinations starters that feature two colors from this pack of papers and one color from outside the pack:

Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Parakeet Party, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Pale Papaya, Mint Macaron, Evening Evergreen Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Mint Macaron, Shaded Spruce, Poppy Parade

By limiting the colors you’ll use in a project (or expanding the colors to those outside a pack of papers), you can really find some beautiful color combinations for our projects.

I hope you find this helpful, I and I hope some of these combinations inspire you.  Please save any (or all of these) to Pinterest for future reference.
