Last week I shared a sweet card with the Fond of Autumn Bundle that cropped out three of the four images in the largest stamp in that set (if you missed it, you can see it here). After I had cropped out the flowers and coordinating leaves, I was left with one piece – the oak leaves with acorns. Not one to waste, I put that image to work on the card I’m sharing with you today. Here’s my card:
I colored the leaves with Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends and the acorns with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends – such a beautiful image to frame the sweet sentiment from Painted Pheasants. Here’s a look at the Fond of Autumn Bundle:
The focal image in this set is quite amazing – not only can you crop out the entire image with the coordinating Autumn Bouquet Dies, but you can crop out four distinct images with smaller dies in the set. Here’s a graphic I created to show how these images can also be cropped:
How fun is that?! The oak leaves at the heart of this bouquet seem to have arms open for the next guest on stage – perfect to tuck a little sentiment to the right of them. Here’s a closer look:
I love the font in the sentiment from Painted Pheasant. I’m still pretty sure I won’t use the bird that’s at the center of this stamp set, but I”m pretty happy with the sentiments and other elements. Here’s a look at Painted Pheasant:
I mounted my sentiment and leaves on a Crumb Cake plaid panel from the Neutrals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. I love this pattern – and the leaves really pop against the muted pattern behind them. The colors and patterns on this card really say “Happy Thanksgiving” or “Happy Fall” to me.

Thank you for bringing it to “my” attention. 😉 We really don’t have “fall” down here in the SW part of FL, though the rest of my life I did live where we did. The dies in this set are really the eye catcher for me. Plus, Fall isn’t the only season for some of the floral images😉
