Christmas Leaves for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Many of my Stampin’ Up! team members (not only those with blogs) share their gorgeous projects in our team’s Facebook community – there’s such amazing and inspiring creativity in this group! I’m always excited when my team’s blog hop rolls around, though, because I get to share some of their amazing work with you. I’m just as excited to see their projects as you are, and I am proud to share them with you.

09-22 - InKing Royalty Blog Hop - Leaves

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s September Blog Hop! This month’s blog hop is dedicated to leaves. As the weather begins to cool, the leaves begin to change colors and fall from the trees. We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Leaves for a Christmas Season

Fall is an amazing season for leaves, but leaves play an important role in all seasons. While Fall is my favorite time of year, I was drawn to the gorgeous, green leaves in the Christmas Season stamp set. I created this card with three greens, a sweet sentiment, gorgeous papers and a pile of Christmas leaves:

The leaves on my card are stamped with the Christmas Season stamp set and cropped with the Seasonal Labels Dies, both carried forward from last year’s Holiday Mini Catalog into the 2022 Annual Catalog. Here’s a look at the gorgeous images in the Christmas Season stamp set:

Seasonal Labels Dies, Stampin Up!, 156299 The sentiment and coordinating banner at the heart of the card are stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink and cropped with the Christmas Banner Dies. I built the greenery around a banner and then glued the collection to the Soft Sea Foam panel. I added another banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop it up from the beautiful greenery beneath. Here’s a closer look:

Here’s a look at the Christmas Banners Bundle, new in Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog:

Christmas Banners Bundle, Stampin Up!, 159993The Shaded Spruce stripes along the sides of my focal panel are one of the patterns from the Santa Express Designer Series Paper. I added thin strips of Sweet Sorbet to the edges of a Soft Sea Foam panel and glued them all together for a beautiful backdrop for this arrangement of leaves. If you like this combination of Soft Sea Foam, Shaded Spruce and Sweet Sorbet as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Soft Sea Foam, Shaded Spruce, Sweet SorbetOther than Basic White, I only used Soft Sea Foam, Shaded Spruce, Sweet Sorbet and Soft Succulent on this card. Say that five times fast! ♥
