Over the weekend, I hosted a Fitting Florets Collection Stamp Along with my InKing Royalty Team. I prepared kits for all those who signed up and mailed them out to participants – then we got together on a Zoom call, chatted and made the projects. Today I’m sharing the third project, a fun fold I couldn’t be happier with. The layering is simpler than you might think. The card features a sentiment from the Framed & Festive stamp set and the Festive Florets Designer Series Paper (both are limited-time products with the early-release of the Framed Florets Bundle). Here’s the third card we made on our call:
I wanted to make a sweet, non-Christmas card with this sentiment from a set full of Christmas sentiments. These pinks really help you to forget it’s a common phrase during the Christmas season. This card would be perfect for a housewarming or a host gift.
The sentiment is stamped with Evening Evergreen and cropped with the oval die that has a solid frame from the Framed Florets Dies.Here’s a look at this amazing, limited-time stamp set:
The base of this card is a 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Blushing Bride that’s scored at 4-1/4″. I folded the card like a book (spine on the left side), opened it up and then cut from the top scored corner to the bottom, right corner of the card panel. I cute a 4″ square piece of the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper and then cut it corner-to-corner with my Paper Trimmer to add a piece that fits perfectly inside the right triangle. The “small card” at the center of the card (and that overlaps with the triangle) is a 3″ x 7″ piece of Blushing Bride cardstock that’s scored at 3-1/2″. Here’s how the card unfolds:

The Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls that were originally a part of the Fitting Florets Collection have sold out and won’t be restocked. As such, the Fitting Florets Collection is also retired and can’t be ordered.
