I am taking a break from the incredible parade of Holiday One-for-One Swaps to share a card I’ve made with some new product. Stampin’ Up! demonstrators are able to order from the upcoming January – April 2023 Mini Catalog. I was excited to place and order on December 1. I was also excited to receive my order and even more excited to start playing. So excited to share!
But first…I wanted to offer a quick reminder that Stampin’ Up! is hosting ANOTHER Free Shipping Day tomorrow (Thursday, December 15). What fun! On orders over $75, you pay no shipping – what a great way to shop the Annual Catalog and take a last pass through the Last Chance Sale and recent Clearance Rack update. Oh fun!
I hope you will spend some time with your catalogs and be ready to place a $75+ order tomorrow. Yay!
OK, back to the card I’ve made to share with you today…
This card couldn’t be farther from the Christmas cards you’ve been seeing lately – except that it’s icy cold and oh-so-fun. I built a flavorful milkshake with the new Share a Milkshake Bundle, which includes the Share a Milkshake stamp set and coordinating Share a Milkshake Dies. Here’s the card I’ve made:
Starting with the new Mini Catalog, bundles are super-special. Both the stamp set and coordinating dies are named the same, which makes it a lot easier for you to find the set of dies that coordinate with your favorite set. Love that! Here’s a look at the Share a Milkshake Bundle, which will be available starting January 5:
The Share a Milkshake Dies are pretty amazing. Not only can you crop out most of the shapes in the stamp set, but there are some really great coordinating items. Here’s a quick rundown of some of the things I love:
- The largest ice cream shape has a small divot in it that allows us to easily add a spoon or straw (both images are in the stamp set and have a coordinating die). I added a spoon to my creation because I was ready to dig in!
- The set of dies includes a fun, thin netting that provides a fun backdrop for a variety of cards.
- Don’t miss those funny-shaped hearts – I love all three of them and will use them often.
- You might question the image at the bottom left of the image above – I have an answer for you. The image creates a waffle cone with two score lines and the texture you love on waffle cones. You just need to cut one out, fold it and add the ice cream. Yum!
Don’t send me an award for the unique shape of my card (did you even notice it wasn’t as wide as a standard card?). To mimic the tall, thin milkshake, I cut 1/2″ off the card base to create a cardfront that’s 3-3/4″ x 5-1/2″.
How fun is this milkshake. Rather than make up a boring vanilla shake, I created a mix of strawberry, chocolate and mint. Love it! The cherry on top is just the cherry on top. I layered my milkshake over a Balmy Blue panel of gingham print from the Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, new in the upcoming catalog.
If you like the fresh, fun trio of scoops in my milkshake, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Bundles: Share a Milkshake Stamps: Share a Milkshake Papers: Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, Balmy Blue, Thick Basic White Inks: Smoky Slate, Polished Pink, Soft Suede, Mint Macaron, Poppy Parade Accessories: Share a Milkshake Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Solid Faceted Gems, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!
Brian
As with all other catalogs, I’ll be making Designer Series Paper Swatch Books and hosting Product Shares from the January – April 2023 Mini Catalog. I’ve already started to sort the shares but won’t finalize the offering until next week. If you’d like to be on my email list when the shares are announced, please email me to let me know!
Placing an order today? Of course you are! If you are placing an order for $150 or more, I want you to enjoy all of the Host Rewards you have earned. If your order is less than $150, I’d love for you please add this Host Code – PCNHWXKC – when prompted. Thank you!
Awesome card and I am looking forward to playing with this bundle! 🙂 Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks, Windy! I’m glad you like it – you will love working with this bundle. Such fun!
I love this cute card ! Plus, I also like how you point out things that I overlook sometimes in a set . This Bundle has lots of options for cards that are fun !
Thank you !
Thanks, Sonny! There are so many great, new and fun things in this set of dies. Always happy to share. ♥
Brian, what a great way to celebrate!!! Love the colors.
Thanks, Katrina! This was a fun card to make – love this new bundle!
My grandson wanted to know if I’d make him a card for him like yours with a milkshake on it. [Then, of course, he wanted to know if I’d make him an actual milkshake. Not for breakfast, bud. I don’t care if you’re 7 and that I’m the cool grandma, your mom will KILL me. Settle for the card, kiddo!]
Which he will.
This is such a fun set to play with. I’ll have his [CASED] card waiting for him after school. And maybe an actual milkshake…
Thanks for making 2 of your fans really smile today. Sweet card and design!
Awww…that makes me so happy, Linda! I hope you took pictures – I’d love to see. ♥
This bundle has been on my list since I first saw it. Your card will be so much fun to make, and the recipient will be thrilled to receive it. Your color combo is wonderful. I love that the stamps have so many matching dies to make it easy. Enjoy your day!!
SO many great dies, Hilda! This is such a fun bundle! There are so many ways to build delicious treats with these stamps and dies. ♥
Ooohh! What a delightful card! I love this bundle, and you’ve paired it so well with that dsp. And to be honest, I am a big fan of milkshakes (malts, actually). Love what you made using yummy colors! Love it!
