Together with Stampin’ Up!’s Watercolor World

If you have flipped through Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2023 Mini Catalog, then I’m certain you let out a big “ooooh!” as you arrived the Watercolor World stamp. I’m a big fan of watercolor images (they make me look like an artist), and I love the world map depicted in this stamp set. I couldn’t wait to ink it up – here’s a card I made to share this amazing stamp with you:

Here’s a look at the Watercolor World single stamp, new in Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2023 Mini Catalog:

I inked up the image with Pear Pizzazz ink, stamped it off once on scrap paper and then stamped it on this 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock. Stamping it off lightens the stamped image so the sentiment would stand out from the image.

Let’s talk about this gorgeous sentiment. Stepping Stones is a sentiments-only stamp set in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog. With uplifting quotes from important people, this set is great for graduation cards, scrapbooks and any time you want to uplift someone special. Here’s a look at the sentiments in the Stepping Stones stamp set:

Rather than just center the sentiment on the card, I framed the basic white panel with Night of Navy cardstock. I cropped a Pear Pizzazz and Basic White panel (the same size as the Night of Navy piece) and lightly staggered them behind the sentiment. With the two offset panels behind it, my sentiment ended up centered on the card (it’s what I set out to avoid, but I’m happy with where it ended).

I showcased a fun mix of green and blues on this card – I love any combination of blue and green. If you like this mix of Pear Pizzazz, Balmy Blue and Night of Navy as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
