With Love & Stampin’ Up!’s Country Bouquet Bundle

Santa has barely left your driveway, but it’s time to invite Cupid inside. You might not want to hear this, but it’s time to start thinking about Valentine’s Day. ♥ Today I’m sharing a super-sweet card with first bundle in Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. Here’s my card:

Country Bouquet Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian King

The band of hearts on my card are built with a variety of hearts from the Country Bouquet Bundle, a love-themed stamp set with a fun, coordinating punch. Here’s a look at the Country Bouquet Bundle:

Country Bouquet Bundle, Stampin Up!, 160383You already know how much I love stamp/punch bundles (they are so affordable and easy-to-use), but photopolymer stamp/punch bundles are even more affordable. Yay! There are some fun elements about this set and punch that I want you to know about. Here are some things I love about this bundle:

  • There are some great sentiments in this stamp set – perfect for Valentine’s Day and all year long.
  • The set is filled with a variety of hearts – large and small.
  • The watercolored heart and small, coordinating heart are ONE STAMP – so you can stamp both hearts and punch them at one time. The leaves at the bottom of the set are also one stamp that can be cropped with one punch.
  • The large images in the stamp set include greenery and flowers/hearts that can be stamped together to build a heart. I stamped these with Shaded Spruce and Sweet Sorbet and then cropped a large and small heart from the pieces.

In total, there are eight hearts on my card – three large hearts are stamped with the watercolor, striped image (two in Sweet Sorbet and one in Petal Pink), one large heart is stamped from the outline image in Sweet Sorbet and two small hearts are stamped with the small, watercolor heart (one in Sweet Sorbet and one in Petal Pink). The other two hearts are punch from the combination of the two large heart-shaped floral images described in the last bullet point above (love these hearts so much). I layered the hearts how I wanted them, glued them together and then popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the card. Here’s a closer look:

Country Bouquet Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe strip along the lower third of my card is a sweet gingham pattern from the new Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, ONE of TWO packs of papers in the Country Floral Lane Suite. This pack includes 8 each of 6 double-sided designs in four sweet colors, making this gingham paper perfect for your Valentine’s Day projects. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper:

I love the mix of Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet – Balmy Blue really helps these colors to pop. If you like this mix of Petal Pink, Balmy Blue and Sweet Sorbet as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

Brian when layering your cards do you start from outer layers to inward or inward to outer?

  11. This was one of the first things in the catalog, and I ran to my computer and ordered the bundle. I love punches too, and the color combos in the DSP (and the gingham paper) are amazing. I love the stacking hearts and your use of the punch. I also love when I see other things in punches; turn this one upside down…and it’s an angel! Guess we can keep it for next Christmas. πŸ™‚ Happy New Year!
