I love to share Stampin’ Up!’s products with my blog readers, team members and customers. Today, I’m happy to share a super-fun Blog Candy Giveaway today with one lucky blog reader.
Blog Candy Giveaway
Like all retailers, Stampin’ Up! has the difficult job of forecasting exactly what its customers will want to buy and when they will want to place their orders. No company wants to under-order products (they lose out on sales), but no company wants to over-order products, either (ending a sales cycle with a warehouse full of costly products that aren’t selling). To keep costs low, companies must straddle that line to find the right balance – it doesn’t always feel good to customers when products run out, but I would suggest it feels better than higher costs that would follow a full warehouse.
The Lucky Clover Punch has proven far more popular than the company’s forecasters predicted it would be. I was surprised, too, by the number of people who picked up this bundle in January (for a holiday that isn’t until mid-March). Some picked up the St. Patrick’s Day bundle before they ordered their Valentine’s Day goodies or Easter goodies. With this popularity, the Lucky Clover punch has sold out in the U.S. and won’t be restocked (they won’t have them back in stock before the St. Patrick’s Day Holiday).
Here’s a look at the Lucky Clover Bundle, now discontinued in the U.S.:
While the bundle is gone (because of the unavailability of the punch), the stamp set is still available for purchase. Here’s a look at the Lucky Clover stamp set:
If you didn’t have a chance to snatch up a Lucky Clover Punch before it went away, then I’ve got some good news for you! I’m happy to host a blog candy giveaway with this amazing bundle – and so much more. Such fun!
Here’s what’s included in this bundle of goodies:
- Lucky Clover Bundle (including Lucky Clover stamp set and Lucky Clover Punch)
- Love Cats Stamp Set
- Loose Daisy Embellishments
- Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems

Brian, I prefer punches! I love using them to create fun punch art. Thank you for giving me the chance to win this set!
Blessings, MaryS
When needing to make a quick card, I almost always reach for a punch, because it’s just that…QUICK! Thanks for the awesome give away Brian!
Punches or dies? That’s tricky..punches are easier to use, pick it up, punch it out! Dies I need to make sure it made it back in sleeve to use again..(which can be a problem when I’m in a hurry to see my finished product). I do love them both and think they are great, and SU has really stepped up with more dies in a set!
I prefer dies for the clean cut edges and versatility, but like the convenience of being able to quickly grab a punch. Almost everyone has fun using a punch, but I’d have to say dies are my favorite.
punch or dies…hmmm. I think there are advantages to each. Punch, quick simple. Dies, more options for a stamp set but requires more steps. Please don’t make me pick a favorite 😉 ok, punch for the time savings but don’t tell my dies lol
I like both punches and dies for different reasons. Punches win for mass production and dies for being able to cut all elements of a stamp set. I choose punches as a winner because I work at a preschool and they are quick and easy to make multiple cut outs for the children to use in some of their art projects.
That is a hard question to answer since both have their own favorite reasons. Punches are so easy and fast but very limited. Love them for sentiment labels. Dies have so much versatility. You have a variety of cut outs per stamp set and a quick way to cut out images from DSP.
Punches. Easiest when you are mass producing.
I love punches because they are quick and easy, but Dies are much more versatile! So my fav is dies. Thank you for offering the prizes.
Pick me, Pick me, or someone else…. they will be blessed!!!!!
Oops…. I was so excited I forgot….. dies are my main go to and I don’t know why but I have a wall mounted box with tons of punches that SU has made. I won’t get rid of them bc they seem to be the ones, in between the dies that I need to complete a project. Love both!
Punches for the win in my book! While I love the look of a die cut if I manage to do it right, the process frustrates me. I have much more control over a punch. I love my punches! I’d love to see SU! make more punch bundles, but I certainly understand the dilemmas of the inventory process. You are very sweet to share your bounty with one of us 🙂
Does of course.
I feel I get more bang for my money with the dies however I do own several punches.
Thanks
Punches! They help you make a cute card so quickly!
Oh Boy, this is a tough question. You have to admit, punches are quicker.
I tend to use dies more, but only because they are in a cart right next to me. Today I’ll reach for the punches more.
Have a blessed day.
I prefer a punch because it is quick and easy. However storage and cost can be an issue. I love the variety of dies, ease of storage, coordination and overall value!
Punches!
My customers are more apt to buy the punch bundle, they don’t want to invest in the cut and emboss if they are hobby crafters. It’s a grab and go item, not as much bulk as the machine. Easy to use.
They both have their pros and cons. Punches are quick and easy, but harder to store. Dies take a little more time, but take up less storage space. I would have to say I love a good punch that works with multiple stamp sets. It always lines up right and I’m finishing up a project in no time!
I love using punches…so quick and easy. Stampin’ Up! Has the best selection but they do sell out quickly.
Tough choice…punches are a bit harder for me to use as my hands are getting old (while I am not! Lol) but are faster than dies. I love using dies that coordinate with stamp sets and also add a great accent (thinking about the stitched shapes, deckled rectangles, etc.) I think I’d have to go with dies as my favorite.
I’m 50/50 with punches and dies. Dies store easily. But punches can be versatile and quick to use with no additional equipment.
It’s a toss-up! Tiny dies are certainly easier to misplace than punches. I reach for dies more, but punches are fun, too.
candy is dandy, but….hmmm. how to make this work…dies are dandy, but punches are primo. okay, that’s lame. anyway–While I adore SU!’s variety of punches, and they come through in a pinch every time, I have to vote for dies. They’re just as easy to use, and there are sooooo many choices!
What a great giveaway and this bundle is awesome.
I love them both but I usually go more towards the dies.
But it also depends if I have to make a quick card, the punch is a bit quicker to pull out. Great giveaway!
Wow what a wonderful giveaway. I like my dies and they are a space saver but I think I love my punches. The are just so much quicker. Thank you for a chance to win.
I prefer dies. But I like punches. Just more options with dies.
Wow,,That’s a Tricky one as I must admit I Love both! But if I had to choose I would pick the dies as they give you so many for each Stamp set to use and I put mine on a magnet sheet in the stamp set so it’s all handy and visible at once!
I prefer punches to dies because
-they’re quicker to use (I can produce more pieces faster)
-they’re easier to find and harder to lose
-they’re easier on my arm (sore shoulder) than using a die cut machine.
Now that I’m writing this, the benefits of dies come to mind:
-I can store them in the cases with their matching stamp sets
-I usually get a more accurate cut with dies.
Okay, so I love both! But if you’re forcing me to choose, I pick punches-just like the clover punch you’re so generously offering. 😉
I love punches because they are so easy and quick but there are so many options with the dies that is is hard to choose. They both have their usefulness.
Dies for the overall card layout, however punches are great for a quick pop of fun, especially on the inside. I am an equal opportunity card maker. Thank you for giving away great products!
Although I would trade my hubby before my Double Oval Punch. I lean more towards the dies as they are easier to store , but I have a ridiculously amount of both. Anything to speed up the card making process and not have to fuzzy cut. Thanks Brian you are so talented and you are my first inspiration of the day with my cup of coffee.
I love punches! But storing them is getting to be problematic.
I “need” both punches and dies. Punches are quick and easy but can’t do all that dies can do. Like another person who commented, I have a ridiculous amount of both.
Good morning, Brian!
Punches, for me, are great to make a bunch at one time as in the Scottie punch! I know in the past I’ve also punched out balloons or other shapes in multiple colors to have on hand. However, as most have commented, dies take up so much less space. Going forward I’ll probably think long and hard about purchasing a punch. 😉
I prefer punches because some days it’s easier when looking for something quick to put together. Thanks for offering a nice giveaway.
Dies are more versatile and have more options, but punches are much quicker and easier to use. I love both for different reasons! Thanks for a great giveaway, Brian!
Oh, Brian! Thanks for admitting that you accidentally ordered 2 of the cat stamp set- I haven’t done it recently, but it’s happened to me before too. I think I was the person who ordered the clover set and they got to the shelf when filling my order and found it was empty. I got the notice that it was unavailable afterwards.
I love both dies and punches. I especially love a tag punch, but nesting die sets are also a favorite of mine. I think the added dimension we can add to a card by using either one is wonderful!
Wishing you and your readers a great weekend!
I would love to have the lucky clover bundle though I already have the cats stamp set.
Choosing punches or dies is a bit impossible! I am always happy when I see a new set that has a matching punch. Punches are fast & easy. And the possibilities of an entire set of dies has its allure too! I am afraid I can’t decide which I like better! I can only say how winderful it is to have a choice!
I love love love punches ! And missed getting this one !
While dies give opportunity for more intricate designs, I prefer punches because they’re so easy to use and you can make multiples quickly. Punches are also perfect for sharing my love of Stampin with my 5 year old daughter.
Hi Brian, I actually love them both. I think punches are very time efficient and easy to use while dies are much more detailed. Each has their use. I’d love to be selected the winner. My last name is O’Connor and I married a sweet Irishman. Thanks for all you do and all your inspiration. Cindy O’Connor
I like to use punches rather than dies. I stamp with Senior citizens making cards and we can make more cards using the punches. We also do not have all the little die pieces to loose.
I choose dies more often, but also like punches for a quick card. Thanks for your very generous blog candy. Enjoy your day!
I love both Stampin Up’s punches and dies but if I HAD to choose I would say the dies. Although the punches can be quicker to use, the Dies offer much more versatility and range of selection. I just love everything about Stampin Up!
Now that’s a tough question! Punches for high volume and dies for more intricate work. If I had to choose, I’m a die person ❤️
I like punches for the quick and easy way to get an object ready for the focal point on a card, however, I think dies are better because you can get a cleaner cut with specialty papers. I prefer a few good punches of seasonal themes like a heart or a shamrock so I can add to a card. Wonderful to have both!!
Hello Brian: Dies or punches…….I must say I love dies more, there are many shapes in one thin, easy to store package vs the bulkiness of a punch.
Thank you for the chance to win this fabulous bundle.
Have a great Super Bowl weekend!!
Maria.
While I live a great punch, I have to say I love the dies for their versatility.
