Get Lucky with Brian’s Lucky Clover Blog Candy Giveaway

I love to share Stampin’ Up!’s products with my blog readers, team members and customers. Today, I’m happy to share a super-fun Blog Candy Giveaway today with one lucky blog reader.

Blog Candy Giveaway

Like all retailers, Stampin’ Up! has the difficult job of forecasting exactly what its customers will want to buy and when they will want to place their orders. No company wants to under-order products (they lose out on sales), but no company wants to over-order products, either (ending a sales cycle with a warehouse full of costly products that aren’t selling). To keep costs low, companies must straddle that line to find the right balance – it doesn’t always feel good to customers when products run out, but I would suggest it feels better than higher costs that would follow a full warehouse.

The Lucky Clover Punch has proven far more popular than the company’s forecasters predicted it would be. I was surprised, too, by the number of people who picked up this bundle in January (for a holiday that isn’t until mid-March). Some picked up the St. Patrick’s Day bundle before they ordered their Valentine’s Day goodies or Easter goodies. With this popularity, the Lucky Clover punch has sold out in the U.S. and won’t be restocked (they won’t have them back in stock before the St. Patrick’s Day Holiday).

Here’s a look at the Lucky Clover Bundle, now discontinued in the U.S.:

Lucky Clover Bundle, Stampin Up! 160613While the bundle is gone (because of the unavailability of the punch), the stamp set is still available for purchase. Here’s a look at the Lucky Clover stamp set:

Lucky Clover, Stampin Up! 160610If you didn’t have a chance to snatch up a Lucky Clover Punch before it went away, then I’ve got some good news for you! I’m happy to host a blog candy giveaway with this amazing bundle – and so much more. Such fun!

Blog Candy Giveaway, Brian King Here’s what’s included in this bundle of goodies:

  • Lucky Clover Bundle (including Lucky Clover stamp set and Lucky Clover Punch)
  • Love Cats Stamp Set
  • Loose Daisy Embellishments
  • Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems
  • Other goodies you’ll certainly enjoy

Why did I include the Love Cats stamp set with this collection? Well, cats have nine lives (lucky!), and I accidentally ordered the stamp set twice. ♥

I’ll randomly select a winner on Sunday evening – but you need to leave a comment to be included in the giveaway.

  1. I like punches, but I use dies far more frequently–I especially love the dies that I can use for all kinds of stamped images, like the Stylish Shapes ones. Plus sometimes I find that punches don’t work so well after a bit.

  2. Great question Brian! Dies seem to be more versatile in shape and size, but take more time to get set up. Punches are great for doing multiples of the same card design because they go faster. So I guess the answer is “it depends on the project.”

  3. I love the ease and quickness of punches but there are so many more options of using dies.

  4. I really do like both for all the reasons mentioned already. If I had to pick one over the other I would pick a punch.

  5. I love dies because they are more versatile, but punches are so much easier to use!
I have severe arthritis in my hands, so a punch makes the job easier.

  6. I like punches over dies. They are a lot easier to use and fast. If you need more than one it is better to use a punch. Thank you for doing a great give away.

  7. I love and probably have too many of both (is that possible?☺️) but the punches are my favorite because they are so quick and I can sit anywhere to punch. Thank you for a great blog give away!

  8. Good question! Dies are more versatile and take much less storage space! But, when the right punch works on a project, especially multiples, it is a happy, (dare I say, lucky) day!

  9. Happy Saturday, I love lunch a little more because they are easy to use!

  10. That’s a tough question. Punches are so easy but they take up way more storage space. Dies are more versatile however. SU has definitely stepped up their game on dies over the last several years. I hardly ever make a card without using my dies. Thanks for an awesome giveaway!!

  11. Brian, I would love to win this bundle of goodness! I prefer punches when I want to make a quick card, but I love the details you can get with dies. So for me, it’s really a toss up.

  12. I actually love both and I think I have almost as many of one as I do the other, but punches are my go to for a quickly needed card.

  13. Love the punch and bundle, it was on my order when it sold out.
As always love your stuff and the way you promote it. Mary

  14. Punches have always been a favorite of mine. Easy to use and you can quickly punch out several. That’s why I use them for swaps almost all the time! Fingers crossed hoping I win. It’s my birthday!

  15. Dies OR punches? That’s like choosing between an arm or a leg! I need BOTH!
Thanks for a great blog and a chance to win. Hope I’m LUCKY!

  16. Tough question! I guess I would say punches because they are faster to just grab and punch and go!

  17. Ohhh, this is a tough one. While punches offer convenience and a quicker result, I think dies are more long-lasting and deliver a higher quality and more detailed cut. So, in the end, I will choose dies…but apparently that doesn’t stop me from buying punches!

  18. I like both depending on the project I’m working on. If I’m making multiples, punches save time, however some of the dies are so intricate they really add so much detail & beauty to the projects.

  19. I love both dies and punches…they each serve their own purpose, and I like that I have a choice.

  20. What an awesome Blog Candy! I have to say I prefer the ease and how fast I can punch for multiple cards. Dies are awesome for all the details and shapes❤️

  21. Punches! They are so much faster to use. Thanks for the giveaway!!!

  22. Good morning ! I prefer punches . I love dies but they are a lot of moving pieces & so easy to lose!

  23. PUNCHES. So quick, and easier to move (should your craft table be on one floor and your stamping supplies on another). An easy, inexpensive punch storage solution I learned from my first demonstrator: over-the-door shoe storage w clear plastic pockets for the punches (err…shoes).

  24. I prefer dies as they can be stored right inside the stamp case and takes up a lot less space.

  25. I prefer punches.

  26. Punches!

  27. What an interesting question! I love the organizational & storage options for dies, but I personally love to use punches! They are so versatile. We used the penguin punch at a class a few weeks ago, and made the cutest snowmen ever! Thanks for the chance to win!

  28. I prefer punches but use more dies because of the versatility.

  29. I immediately think dies are my favorite as I receive so many more of various sizes and shapes. However, I have so many punches that I won’t part with.

  30. First of all, thanks for the chance to win blog candy.
I guess I’m an equal opportunity consumer as I like both punches and dies.

  31. What a great give away. I love the punches, quicker and easier for me and I don’t have to get up to go to my cutting machine and try to line the dies up — I’m always off with the cutting. I can punch multiples at a time and love that! Pick me!!!

  32. Definitely punches! You can punch so many out at once rather that using a die! Convenient and fast!

  33. Well I have to say dies are my fav especially the nested shape dies. I use them often . Punches that are basic shapes get used the most and are most versatile but the dies win out!

  34. Hi! I really prefer dies! It’s just fun for me to die cut and I love to collect dies. Thanks!

  35. Hi, Brian. I think both punches and dies have a place in the stamin! World. I love them both! Thanks for offering such a great giveaway!

  36. I’m so glad that even big time demonstrators like you accidentally order an extra set! I’d love to win your bundle. Mainly, though, I want to say how much I love your cards, your color layouts, and your sense of humor.

  37. I am new to Stampin’ Up, but so far I prefer dies. Especially since I got the new machine 😉

  38. I really like both. I feel like I use dies more often because of the diversity of shapes. Punches are faster to use, which can be a blessing when making a large number of cards. Overall I will say punches.

  39. Definitely punches! Fast, simple, and easy set up!

  40. Oh my dies or punches…that’s like someone asking me who’s my favorite child(which I I don’t have a favorite🤣). I absolutely love the die and punches both. I use both of them all the time. I honestly could not pick a favorite between the two of them. It depends upon what stamp set I’m using whether I need a die set or a punch. If I really have to choose, I guess I would say dies because they offer more options then punches when making a card.

  41. Wowza Brian. Not only are your posts inspiring but also generous in so anyways. Thanks for sharing.

    • I like both punches and dies. Punches are quicker and easier, but do have some limitations such as storage space. I’m a fan of both depending on the project. I like having the mix.

  42. I must say, I was so excited when I discovered SU and their amazing dies. It changed my world forever; but … then I discovered punches and fell in love all over again. Punches rule!

  43. While the dies offer more options for shapes and larger sizes, I’m totally a “punch girl!” I love the quick convenience of punching my element and continuing to craft! Thanks, Brian, have a great weekend!

  44. That is a tough one for sure! I love the dies because of all the options but I like the punches because it’s a one stop punch and easy to take with you!

  45. I prefer punches for the ease of use. I really wish SU would bring back the clover punch like they did the Moose punch! Love all of your cards!

  46. I like punches the best for ease in making lots of cards. I can punch 20 shapes a lot quicker than die cutting. However, I have lots of dies and they are easier to store and love it when you can use with the same dsp design to die cut.

  47. I love punches but dies have much broader applications. I’m feeling ‘lucky’ about winning the giveaway. 🍀

  48. Hi Brian
What an incredible & generous giveaway !
I prefer single punches to dies . However I find the multiple punch a bit tricky so then I’d prefer the dies
    I couldn’t do without either!
    Thanks, Dawn

  49. I use both and like both, but if I am making a large quantity for a project a punch makes things go faster.

  50. I was one that missed out on this bundle, so thank you for the opportunity to win it! I love the ease of punches but prefer dies for lots of reasons – storage space, many more shapes & sizes, cleaner cuts in many cases!
