Happy Birthday with Irresistible Blooms

I’ve really loved playing with all of the products in the Irresistible Blooms Collection, part of March’s Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives release. Lots of other folks are enjoying the bundle, too, as it has sold off the shelves in the United States. The coordinating Designer Series Paper is also unavailable to order right now. I wanted to make a card with the Irresistible Blooms Bundle that gives a different color palette to the images in the set (I love the colors in the coordinating paper, but I wanted to play with some different blues and greens). Here’s my card:

Here’s a look at the Irresistible Blooms Bundle, which includes the Irresistible Blooms stamp set and coordinating Irresistible Blooms Dies:

I cropped the flowers and leaves with the Irresistible Blooms Dies – and I added a band of Thick Basic White cropped with the gorgeous die at the bottom of the photo above. Such a cool die! While the dies are on backorder right now, the stamp set can be ordered (the dies are amazing, but you can play with the stamp set without them). Here’s a look at the Irresistible Blooms stamp set:

While there are so many great sentiments in the Irresistible Blooms stamp set, I needed a birthday sentiment – and this one fit my card perfectly! I embossed the “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” from Something Fancy and cropped it with the coordinating dies. Here’s a closer look:

There was a time when every project I made featured Coastal Cabana or Pool Party. Other blues came along, and I strayed a bit. I love how these blues look with flowers – and the Shaded Spruce leaves and card base are a perfect offset to the sweet blues. If you like this mix of Smoky Slate, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Shaded Spruce as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
