Flowers for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Many of my Stampin’ Up! team members (not only those with blogs) share their gorgeous projects in our team’s Facebook community – there’s such amazing and inspiring creativity in this group! I’m always excited when my team’s blog hop rolls around, though, because I get to share some of their amazing work with you. I’m just as excited to see their projects as you are, and I am proud to share them with you.

InKing Royalty Blog Hop - Flowers - March 2023

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s March Blog Hop! Despite the occasional cold spell or snowfall in some areas, we are well into Spring – and we are ready for the flowers to bloom. We are excited to share our flower-filled creations with you and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

CONGRATS

Stampin’ Up! gives us SO MANY options for flower-themed projects. Fun flowers, elegant flowers, painted flowers, sweet flowers. Despite the variety of bundles I have with flowers in them, I reached for the Enjoy the Adventure Memories and More cards to make the flower-filled project I’m sharing with you today. Here’s my card:

Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards, Stampin Up!, Brian King

I really love this panel of sweet, whimsical flowers in this large Enjoy the Adventure Memories and More Card. A coordinating pattern is found in the small cards and in the coordinating stickers, so I used them all! Here’s a look a the fun patterns in the Enjoy the Adventure Memories and More Cards:

Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Card Pack, Stampin Up! 160840The base panel of flowers is one of the large cards in the pack – I trimmed the card to 1-3/16″ x 4-7/8″ and then framed them with Basic Black cardstock. The panel above that is a fun, black-and-white card that provides a nice accent to the Petal Pink panel above it. I texture-embossed the Petal Pink panel with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders that is part of the Online Exclusives offering. Love it!

The flowers and sentiment on my card are part of the stickers in the Enjoy the Adventure Memories and More Cards. To reduce the stickiness of the stickers, I tapped the back of the stickers with my finger and then my jeans until most of the tackiness was gone. I then popped these up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

While there are some Balmy Blue flowers in the coordinating panels on this card, Petal Pink and Mint Macaron are a major player in the designs. When compared with Basic Black, their softness is even more sweet. If you like this combination of Petal Pink, Mint Macaron and Basic Black, I hope you will save this for future reference:
