Let’s Celebrate You with Sentimental Park

Yesterday I shared one of the pocket fold cards I created for Friday’s Online Stamp-a-Long. If you missed it, you can see it here. While yesterday’s card was a portrait version of Allison Okamitsu’s pocket fold, today’s is a landscape version of the same card. This one, though, is enveloped by a belly band that slides off to reveal the goodness inside. Here’s a look at the card:

Any celebration is more celebratory when it’s in Poppy Parade, right? The sentiment and coordinating tag are from the Sentiment Park Bundle. I really love how the white piece fits right into the design of the Poppy Parade piece (there are notches in the design to make that easy for you). Here’s a look at this incredible bundle with so many gorgeous layering elements:

The top and bottom panels on the front of my card features a Parakeet Party page from the Butterfly Kisses 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this bright and cheery pack of papers:

When the belly band is pulled off the card, it opens up to another surprise inside (a Basic White card with another strip of the Butterfly Kisses 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper on top):

What’s even more exciting?! The little card features one of my favorite stamps from the Sentimental Park stamp set:

The measurements for this card base are as following:

• The Poppy Parade base of the card measures 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and is scored at 2″ and 6-1/4″
• The Parakeet Party Panels on the front of the card are 1/8″ smaller than the panels – 5-3/8″ x 1-7/8″ and 5-3/8″ x 2-1/8″.
• The Pool Party belly band measures 1-3/4″ wide, and the tag is popped up on band with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• The card inside is a 4-1/4″ x 3″ piece of Basic White with a 1/2″ strip across the top.

When you are celebrating someone who’s amazing, it’s important to pull the right colors. I love this trio of soft, bright and super-bright tones together – and the mix of the three colors creates quite a tongue-twister. If you like this mix of Parakeet Party, Pool Party and Poppy Parade as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
