So Sweet with Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards

The Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kit that Emma Goddard and I created for April is a no-stamping kit with the Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards and some other coordinating accessories. While we had loads of fun with the projects, I had some in-the-works projects that ended up on the scrap pile. After all the projects were designed, I picked up some of the pieces and made this card:

The 4-1/4″ square card is built with beautiful cardstock, two cards from the Memories & More Cards and two stickers from the pack. Here’s a look at the Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More cards that are currently in the Last Chance Sale (marked down from $10.00 to $8.00):

I cut 1-1/2″ squares from the Petal Pink striped section of the card, framed them with 1-5/8″ squares of Basic Black cardstock and then positioned them on the 3-3/4″ square of Mint Macaron cardstock. To add a little intrigue, I alternated the direction of the stripes. Ooooh! So intriguing!

I accented my sweet sentiment and flowers with three Soft Succulent Festive Pearls, a carryover from Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Holiday Catalog. These pearls are currently available in the Online Store and will also be available in the 2023 Annual Catalog. There’s one small difference in the new catalog – since Soft Succulent will have retired, the soft green pearls are listed as “green.” They look like matte silver to me, so I thought they’d look great on this card. Here’s a look at the Festive Pearls:

Festive Pearls, Stampin Up! 159963My card features a mix of soft colors (Petal Pink and Mint Macaron) with the darkest of all colors (Basic Black) for a sweet, yet bold, combination. Mint Macaron is also retiring on May 1 (or when supplies run out), so be sure to restock if you might ever need to reach for it again. ♥ If you like this mix of Petal Pink, Mint Macaron and Basic Black as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

  3. Cute card ! I have this Memories And More set and it is fun to play with for different projects . Love those cute flowers ! Plus a great sale price !

  4. Just popping in to agree with Mary, “darling” pretty much says it all! My card pack and black cardstock came Saturday and I am ready to play. I saw that card with the polka dots and the green swatch on it and thought – grass, lets put the flower sticker on it. Well, you stepped it up, way beyond what I was thinking my royal friend. Thanks for making me smile.

  5. Brian, I just LOVE this card and am not ashamed to admit I’m going to CASE it!

  6. Can’t wait for my kit to arrive–so much fun! Love how your so-called scraps = 1st run creativity. You rock!
