Thinking of You with Autumn Leaves

If you love Fall, then you should just put “the entire All About Autumn Suite Collection” at the top of your wish list from Stampin’ Up!’s September-December 2023 Mini Catalog (the Holiday Mini) that goes live September 6. While I featured the GORGEOUS All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper from this suite on a card I shared last week (you can see it here), I inked up the leaves in the set for the card I made to share with you today. Here’s my Fall-themed “thinking of you” card:

There are so many great dies in the Autumn Leaves set – I used the outline images to crop the maple and oak leaves for this project. Here’s a look at the Autumn Leaves Bundle, new on September 6:

While there are some really great sentiments in the Autumn Leaves Bundle, I needed a “thinking of you” card, so I reached for the beautiful sentiment in the Season of Chic stamp set. The font works so well with the artistry of the leaves in the Autumn Leaves stamp set. Here’s a look at the Season of Chic stamp set, which features images from all seasons:

I stamped the sentiment with Pretty Peacock ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and cropped it with a punch that’s also new in the upcoming Mini Catalog. I love the shape of the Modern Oval Punch, sold separately or as a part of the Modern Garden Bundle. Here’s a look:

I texture-embossed the 3-3/4″ x 5″ panel of Crumb Cake cardstock with the new Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, which is also a part of this suite collection. I love the gorgeous texture it creates – adds a lovely element without taking away from the focal elements of the card. Here’s a look:

I chose to highlight three warm colors for today’s Fall card – all three happen to be new or returning colors that I love so much. Wild Wheat, Pecan Pie and Pretty Peacock are gorgeous on their own but exceptionally beautiful together. If you like this combination as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

I added three Pretty Peacock rhinestones from the Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio in the 2023 Annual Catalog. I like the added shine these little rhinestones add to the card.
