Amazing Royal Swaps – Day 1

You already know how much I love my InKing Royalty team – not only do we hop from blog to blog once a month to share our fun creations with the world, but we also share projects we’ve made in our InKing Royalty Facebook group (a fun group of supportive stampers who’ve signed up with me or the members in my first and second levels).

This past month, I hosted a card swap with my team to share exciting projects with fellow team members. Participants designed a card with current Stampin’ Up! products (and some Holiday Catalog sneak peeks) and sent me 10. In return, they each received 11 cards in return (with a card from me) and a little gift. If you missed my swap card, you can see it here.

Today I’m excited to share a batch of the swap cards I received. Some are brand new stampers, and others have been stamping for years. I hope you’ll leave a comment to let them know how much you love their projects. Here are the cards from the swap:

Margo Bullwinkle

Margo’s sweet, simple card features scored lines on the white focal panel to frame the gorgeous flowers inside (you might have to click on the picture to open it up and see the score lines). She watercolored Soft Sea Foam onto the card front and then stamped flowers from the Dainty Delight stamp set. With just a little touch of color to the flowers, a brass butterfly and a sweet sentiment, she created a beautiful, beautiful card.

Marilyn used the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks (available in Stampin’ Up!’s September-December 2023 Mini Catalog) to build a gorgeous backdrop on this card.  A sentiment and acorn image from the Fruitful Blessings Bundle (also available in Stampin’ Up!’s September-December 2023 Mini Catalog) are the perfect touch on this monochromatic beauty:

Like me, Maureen has a special love for the Earthen Textures Bundle in Stampin’ Up!’s 2023 Annual Catalog. Maureen created a gorgeous watercolored background with Moody Mauve ink and a cutout with Deckled Rectangle Dies for the backdrop of her rich card. She layered some die cut and textured pots and flora from the bundle and added a sweet sentiment from the stamp set to build this beautiful card:

I can’t get enough of the gorgeous blues in Pamela’s beautiful card. The panels of Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper are positioned in a fun pattern and wrapped with Boho Blue 3/8″ Textured Ribbon. I love the shine the ribbon adds!  The sentiment (from the Courage & Faith stamp set in the 2023 Annual Catalog) is stamped on cutouts from the Nested Essentials Dies (also from the 2023 Annual Catalog). She added little Boho Blue flowers from the Petal Park stamp set for an added bonus.

Renae’s gorgeous card also features a sentiment and artwork from the Courage & Faith stamp set. Stamped in Shaded Spruce, the image is framed with a tiny bit of Basic Black and then showcased on a larger panel of Shaded Spruce. The background panel is embossed with the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder – always a great way to add a little texture. Here’s a look at Renae’s beautiful and inspiring card:

Patty showcased a studious bird on her sweet card. The Bird’s Eye View stamp set can be used to make ADORABLE birds with glasses, books and branches. Who doesn’t love a smart bird? She colored her bird with Stampin’ Blends and added a sentiment from Color & Contour stamp set (a favorite of mine). Her Basic White panel is mounted on a Basic White card base for a design that takes your eyes right to the bird at the heart of the design:

What do you think?! Do you see some products or techniques that you can’t live without?! Aren’t these projects inspiring and wonderful?! I hope you’ll leave a comment to let these artists know how much you enjoy their work. ♥

I’ll be back tomorrow to share some more from the swap!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Brian
