Amazing Royal Swaps – Day 2

You already know how much I love my InKing Royalty team – not only do we hop from blog to blog once a month to share our fun creations with the world, but we also share projects we’ve made in our InKing Royalty Facebook group (a fun group of supportive stampers who’ve signed up with me or the members in my first and second levels).

This past month, I hosted a card swap with my team to share exciting projects with fellow team members. Participants designed a card with current Stampin’ Up! products (and some Holiday Catalog sneak peeks) and sent me 10. In return, they each received 11 cards in return (with a card from me) and a little gift.

If you missed the other days of swap shares, you can see them here:

Today I’m excited to share another batch of the swap cards I received. Some are brand new stampers, and others have been stamping for years. I hope you’ll leave a comment to let them know how much you love their projects. Here are the cards from the swap:

Sally Nusbaum

Sally won me over from the moment I saw she showcased the All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper (new in Stampin’ Up!’s September-December 2023 Mini Catalog, which goes live on September 6), but it’s the treatment of the Copper Clay strips on the card that made we swoon. Along the lines of the Countryside Corners Dies (from Stampin’ Up!’s 2023 Annual Catalog), Sally added strips to extend the pattern to the edge of the card. I LOVE IT! The sentiment on her card is pulled from the So Sincere stamp set (also from the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog) and added three Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots from the All About Autumn Suite Collection. Here’s Sally gorgeous card:

There’s a beautiful simplicity to Robyn’s card that I love so much! For starters, I love this design from the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper (from the 2023 Annual Catalog). Such a busy design can be tricky to work with, but Robyn approached her design with perfection! I love the Pretty Peacock band across the left side of her card that makes the card almost look like a composition notebook. The layering of the Sentimental Park Dies on her card allow a showcase of the beautiful dies as a standout against the paper. The Sending Hugs sentiment is pulled from the Layering Leaves stamp set in the annual catalog – first perfectly inside this die-cut element. Robyn’s card:

Karen also used the Sentimental Park Dies on her card for the swap (she also combined two sentiments from the Sentimental Park stamp set) and added a bushel of beautiful flowers from the Petal Park stamp set and Petal Park Builder Punch. I love that Karen added beautiful colors with a blending brush to the cardstock base before embossing it with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder. Here’s Karen’s beautiful card:

You already know how much I love a bold pop of color against a black backdrop, so you have to know that I gasped when I opened her modern, bright and bold card. Dianne created two layers behind her flowers with the Deckled Rectangles Dies and added flowers and leaves from the Artistically Inked stamp set and cropped with the coordinating Artistic Dies. The sentiment is pulled from the same stamp set and is cropped with a label die from the Labels Aglow Dies. Here’s Dianne’s happy, bold card:

Traci’s ocean-themed hourglass features the Time Together Bundle (new in Stampin’ Up!’s 2023 Annual Catalog). I love that she created an ocean scene inside and outside of the hourglass – such a creative use of the bundle. Traci pulled in images (shells and crab and sand) from the Seaside Bay stamp set and cropped with the Seaside Bay Dies for a beautiful card with gorgeous colors and texture from the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder:

What do you think?! Do you see some products or techniques that you can’t live without?! Aren’t these projects inspiring and wonderful?! I hope you’ll leave a comment to let these artists know how much you enjoy their work. ♥

I’ll be back tomorrow to share some more from the swap!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Brian
