I love a big, bold sentiment – and the Joy to You stamp set has four great sayings that can be snipped for even more sayings. I showcased the “Wishing you a very Merry Christmas” sentiment against a gorgeous backdrop of papers and dies from Stampin’ Up!’s September-December 2023 Mini Catalog. Here’s the card I’ve made to share with you today:
Here’s a look at the incredible Joy to You stamp set, new in the newly released Holiday Mini Catalog:
I heat-embossed the bold sentiment with white embossing powder on Real Red cardstock and cropped it with one of the dies in the Countryside Corners Dies. The die framed the sentiment perfectly. Here’s a closer look:
The sentiment is positioned over die-cuts from two new bundles in the new catalog – the pine needles are cropped with the Joy of Noel Dies, and the holly leaves are cropped with the Christmas Classics Dies. I’ve included pictures of these dies and bundles in the product listing below if you’d like a closer look.
My card features three of the designs from the Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper – the strip of striped Garden Green paper, the panel of poinsettias and the holly leaves are all pulled from the paper. Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in this gorgeous Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper:
While the paper includes shades of Poppy Parade, I accented the poinsettias with Real Red cardstock. If you like this rich mix of Real Red, Pretty Peacock and Garden Green as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
