Yesterday I shared a project I designed for a presentation I gave over the weekend to showcase the Deckled Circles Dies. The card features three panels – Pretty Peacock, Wild Wheat and Pecan Pie – from which I cropped deckle-edged circles to create a diorama (if you missed that post, you can see it here). I love the color combination and couldn’t waste the cropped out circles, so I put them to use in the card I’m sharing with you today. Here’s the card I made:
Before arranging the trio of circles on this cardfront, I ran the circles through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. The folder gave the circles a lovely texture that added something rustic and special to the project. Here’s a closer look at the gorgeous texture on the deckle-edged circles:
The sentiment on my card, stamped with Pretty Peacock ink, is pulled from the Happy Labels stamp set (just like the card I shared with you yesterday). Since I was showcasing the Deckled Circles Dies, it seemed fitting to crop the sentiment with the Deckled Rectangles Dies for a repeat of the jagged edges of the circles. Here’s a look at the Deckled Circles Dies:
And here’s a look at the Deckled Rectangles Dies:
I tied a bow with several strands of Linen Thread and added it to my cardfront with a Mini Glue Dot. Since I used Very Vanilla cardstock as the base panel on my card and for the sentiment, I added three Very Vanilla dots from the Classic Matte Dots – such a perfect, little accent.
Stamps: Happy Labels Papers: Crumb Cake, Pretty Peacock, Wild Wheat, Pecan Pie, Very Vanilla, Thick Very Vanilla Inks: Pretty Peacock Accessories: Deckled Circles Dies, Deckled Rectangles Dies, Linen Thread, Classic Matte Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
