Have a Merry Christmas with Deckled Circles

Over the past week, I’ve shared several projects I created for Allison Okamitsu’s Creative Stampin’ Expo, an event she hosts for Canadian Demonstrators three or four times a year. During my presentation, I shared fun ways to showcase and use the Deckled Circles (new in Stampin’ Up!’s September-December 2023 Mini Catalog). Today I’m sharing the last card I shared during my presentation – I was really excited about this one. Here’s my card:

Deckled Circles Dies, Merry & Bright, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Christmas card

I love the new Deckled Circles Dies. I lined them up all up on the cutting platform of my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock. On pass through the machine gave me a variety of thin rings I could play with to create a fun design. How fun is that?!

The Deckled Circles Dies includes 14 circle dies, ranging from approximately 1″ in diameter to 5-3/4″. They can be found on page 63 of the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog (you’ll only see them if you are looking for them), and they are a must-have! Here’s a look at the Deckled Circles Dies,

Deckled Circles Dies, Stampin Up!, 162286I layered a variety of the white circle rings on a 3-3/4″ x 5″ pattern from the Traditions of St. Nick Designer Series Paper. Of course they hung over the edges, so I simply snipped them off around the edge of the panel. I love the look! Here’s a closer look:

I built a sentiment with the Merry & Bright stamp set, stamping the sentiment with Shaded Spruce ink on Thick Basic White cardstock and hand-snipped with paper snips. I added white sequins from the Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio. So festive!
