I’m sharing a quick-and-easy card with an Online Exclusives stamp set that was introduced last month and a pack of papers that can be earned next month. Together they are a perfect combination for Valentine’s Day (or any day that you want to let someone know how much they are loved). Here’s my card:
When Stampin’ Up! introduced the Softly Said stamp set last month, I was taken by the hand-written font, watercolored effect and assortment of great sentiments. “Just Because” and “You are Loved” particularly stood out to me – and I’m excited to showcase one of those today. Here’s a look at Softy Said:
I stamped the sentiment with Real Red and cropped it to about 2″ x 3-1/2″. Here’s a closer look at the watercolored texture of the sentiment:
I planned to center everything on the card with proportionate, centered panels (not an uncommon look for my cards) but at last minute decided to offset the two panels and make one a square. I think it showcased both of these panels really well.
The gold marbling and the pink plaid panels are pulled from the Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper that can be selected FOR FREE with a $50 order during Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-Bration sales event in January and February 2024. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this pack of papers:
With only three colors in the Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper, it was easy for me to select coordinating colors. If you like this mix of gold, Flirty Flamingo and Real Red as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
