I Really Appreciate You – Another Layered Florals Beauty

Yesterday I shared a sweet, simple card with the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder (if you missed that post, you can see it here). While I was sharing the card, I withheld a little secret about it – I actually made two cards and only shared one. There are so many similarities between the two cards, but there are some differences that are worth a look-see, so I’m sharing the second card today. Here’s my card:

Layered Floral 3D Embossing Folder, Softy Sophisticated, Everyday Details Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian KingDoes it look familiar?! I used all the same products as yesterday’s card but switched up the sentiment (from the same stamp set, though!) and changed the Night of Navy paper at the center of the card. Instead of a piece of Night of Navy cardstock, I texture-embossed a Night of Navy panel of the White Center Specialty Paper. Here’s a look at this fun paper from the 2023 Annual Catalog:

White Center Specialty Paper, Stampin Up! 161748Have you ever torn a piece of Stampin’ Up! cardstock and noticed that the paper is the same color all the way through? This White Center Specialty Paper has a white fiber core – love it! Once I texture-embossed the Night of Navy paper with the Textured Florals 3D Embossing Folder, I sanded the surface with a sanding block to pull away some of the image, leaving the white center. Here’s a closer look at how that looks:

It’s not as clean as the plain, embossed panel, but there’s something I really like about it. So that you can get a better comparison before you answer my question (and I know you’ll answer my question), here’s a look at both of the cards, side-by-side:
