On Sunday, I shared one of the alternative projects I created with Stampin’ Up!’s Lovely Lavender Paper Pumpkin Kit. If you’d like to see that project, CLICK HERE. Today I’m sharing two more projects – rather than hide them under a bushel, I figured I’d put these out there for you to also enjoy. Both of these projects were really fun to make – and you don’t have to have January’s Paper Pumpkin Kit to enjoy these ideas. Here are two additional cards I made with this kit:
The card I shared on Sunday centered around the gorgeous tag panel from the kit (to see all of the elements in the kit, CLICK HERE). Rather than showcase the panel in all it’s glory, I trimmed it down to the 1-3/4″ x 3-1/2″ panel showcased on this card. It’s so beautiful, isn’t it?! I added a heart (stamped with Real Red and the Bee My Valentine stamp set and punched with the coordinating punch), framed the panel with Gorgeous Grape cardstock and then mounted on a crumb cake panel from the kit. Here’s a closer look:
The sentiment on my card is pulled from the Paper Pumpkin stamp set. The heart is a small addition to this card, but it’s an important one. You’ll be seeing this heart again soon. 🙂 Here’s a look at the Bee My Valentine Bundle that was used to create it:
The simple layers are really sweet and look so great together – I love this mix of colors! If you like the combination of Crumb Cake, Gorgeous Grape and Real Red as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
The second card I’m sharing today is a small card (half of the card base for one of the projects in the kit). I folded the panel in half (the small card measures 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ scored at 2-3/4″) and added a 1″ strip of the floral paper on the other side of the card. I stamped the sentiment with Gorgeous Grape ink on one of the punch outs from the kit and popped it up over a small arrangement of flowers and leaves from the kit. It’s simple, but it’s really fun. Here’s a closer look:
