Happy Birthday with Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper

Not every man is a handyman, so not every man can appreciate a card that showcases handyman tools. If you know a man, though, who owns a collection of shop tools and loves to fix things, then the Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper is something you need. I know plenty of women who are super-handy with shop tools – this paper can be perfect for them, too! Today I’m sharing a simple, layered card that showcases FOUR pages from the fun Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper, one of the products you can select for free with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration. Here’s my card:

Like all Designer Series Papers Stampin’ Up! designs, the Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper features a mix of themed pages (pages with tools, bolts, toolbox designs) and all-purpose designs (grid paper, textured designs). Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper:

I cut the wrench, paintbrush and hammer from the first design on the bottom row and showcased them over a panel of nuts and bolts (the fourth pattern on the top row) and a ruler strip (the sixth pattern on the bottom row). I framed that panel with Basic White at Crushed Curry and popped that up over a textured panel of Gray Granite (the fourth page on the bottom row). Individually, they are all great pages. Together, they are incredible!

The trio of handyman tools are showcased behind the “Happy Birthday” greeting from the Wanted to Say Dies. I’ve used these dies more than any other – with a little Adhesive Sheet and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, these dies create a big, bold sentiment anyone can appreciate. I added three Crushed Curry stars from the Adhesive-Backed Lightning & Stars, part of the Rock & Roll Suite Collection in Stampin’ Up!’s 2024 Spring Mini Catalog. The color coordinates perfectly with all the Crushed Curry in the papers, and the stars play well with the birthday celebration.
