Floating By with Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper

After a day of long work meetings and lots of accounting talk, I love to dive into creativity with my card making. The fun images and bold patterns in the Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper remind me of the creativity embraced by children – who couldn’t make a boat or house or car from a simple cardboard box?! Here’s a card I made with one of the images in this pack of papers:

Like all Stampin’ Up!’ Designer Series Papers, one side features themed pages (lots of children in a variety of themes (costumes, arts & crafts, baking, reading, hanging out with pets), and the other side features fun patterns that can be used for a variety of projects. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper:

There are two ways to pick up the Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper:

  • If you want to purchase this pack of papers for $12.50, enter product #162828.

I snipped the trio of children in the cardboard box boat from one page of the Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper and added them to two other panels from the pack – here’s a closer look:

I looked for fun sentiments about adventure and voyages and friendship, but nothing was clicking. Some finalists were “finding a friend is the best discovery of all” from Happy Hedgehogs and “ENJOY your day” from Heartfelt Hellos, but the sentiment from Submarine Life won out in the end. How cute is this?!

I stamped the sentiment with Azure Afternoon ink. Here’s a look at the Submarine Life Bundle, which includes this sentiment and the Submarine Life Builder Punch:

  1. Cute card! I was thrilled to get a pack of this paper for making future cards for my granddaughter that’s arriving in April. The inclusivity of a child in a wheelchair will be a great way for her to see someone like her grandma (me). This DSP is chocked full of possibilities for fun kid cards!

  2. Adorable card, Brian. Perfect sentiment. Your ability to pull the appropriate sentiment or element from stamp sets and paper packs always amazes me. Enjoy your day!

  3. Really cute background you created! fun card!
