Yesterday I shared a bright, cheery card I made to showcase the hummingbird and flowers in the Thoughtful Expressions Bundle (if you missed that card, you can see it here.Today, I’m celebrating the sophisticated side of the bundle, including the incredible dies and coordinating Poetic Expressions Designer Series Paper. My card also features A LOT of Wild Wheat, and I couldn’t be happier about it. Here’s my card:
How gorgeous are the two shapes in this set of dies? There are six of the rounded frame and four of the label frame. Love! Here’s a look at the Thoughtful Expressions Bundle, which includes the Thoughtful Expressions cling stamp set and coordinating Thoughtful Expressions Dies:
I stamped the sentiment with Wild Wheat ink on Thick Basic White. I inked up the flower stamp with Wild Wheat, stamped it off three times and then stamped it over the sentiment for a soft pattern behind the sentiment. Here’s a closer look at the sentiment at the heart of this card:

The larger frame on my card and the 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel behind the focal panel on my card are pulled from a watercolored Wild Wheat page in the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper. This piece added beautiful texture to my monochromatic card. Here’s a closer look at the colors and patterns in the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper:
I added a strand of Wild Wheat 3/8″ Textured Ribbon behind the sentiment layers, adding one more touch of the golden tone and adding a little more texture to the card.
