Sophisticated Beauty with Stippled Roses

The card I’m sharing today features gorgeous flowers from the Stippled Roses Bundle, but it also combines elements from several other products I love so much. This card is far more sophisticated than I originally set out to make, but I’m so happy with how it turned out. Here’s my card:

I stamped the flowers with Early Espresso on Thick Very Vanilla and then colored the flowers and leaves with a mix of Watercolor Pencils (Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Garden Green). Here’s a look at the elegant bundle I used to stamp and crop these flowers:

I was trying to decide between showcasing the roses or the magnolias from the Magnolia Mood Bundle (new in the Online Exclusives offering), so both were on my desk. When I realized the gorgeous magnolia fits right behind the roses for an additional layer of leaves, I about jumped out of my seat. Look how perfectly it fits on the back:

I simply added a little Old Olive ink to the leaves with a Sponge Dauber and snipped away at a one flower that stuck out a bit. Easy! Here’s a look at the Magnolia Mood Bundle (the stamp set is currently on backorder and expected to return next week):

Oh! But there’s another Online Exclusives product on my card – did you catch it?! The Crumb Cake background panel on my card is stamped with the tree trunk cross-section in the Textured Timber stamp set This is a lovely stamp set! Here’s a look:

I accented my flowers and sentiment from Perennial Postage with gold Simply Elegant Trim and gold pearls from the Festive Pearls. It’s a mess under there – lots of gold trim, but it sure looks lovely peeking out.
