Thank You with the Flowering Zinnias Suite Collection

Since the launch of the Flowering Zinnias Suite Collection in early March, elements of the suite have been on backorder. First, it was the GORGEOUS sequins, and the INCREDIBLE embossing folder sold out along the way. Boy do I have some really good news to share today – [clears his throat in his cone-shaped megaphone] – for the first time since the release day in March, all elements of the Flowering Zinnia Suite Collection are now in stock. To celebrate, I whipped up this card to share with you:

Here’s a look at the Flowering Zinnias Suite Collection:

Flowering Zinnias Suite Collection, Stampin Up! 163485This suite collection includes the Simply Zinnia Bundle (Simply Zinnia stamp set and coordinating Simply Zinnia Dies), the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper, The Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder and the Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins. What fun!

My card design started with a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ panel of Melon Mambo cardstock that I embossed with the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder. What a gorgeous texture this embossing folder delivers! Here’s a closer look at the embossed panel:

I added three 3/4″ x 5″ strips of Melon Mambo and Poppy Parade flowers from the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper to the center of the embossed panel and added a 2-1/2″ square of one of the pages in this pack. Perfect colors in perfect coordination! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper:

Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 163469With a little tape, I covered up the “so much” in the sentiment from the Simply Zinnia stamp set, inked up the stamp with Blackberry Bliss ink and stamped it on Thick Basic White to isolate the “thank you.” I decorated the card with 5 Melon Mambo sequins from the Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins. Here’s a look:

  1. Nice card Brian…I just love your simple but elegant design ideas.

  2. Love how you layered the embossing and tone on tone pattern.

  3. I totally love this set! I’m hoping you and Emma do a class with this… hint, hint… I’m on board for sure!

    • Awww…thank you so much, Alaine! We talked about it when it was released but were concerned about availability during launch. Will keep you in mind. ♥

  4. Wowzers! I am up early with my basset hound and thought I would pop in. So glad I did as this card is stunning. I did not get the sequins nor the EF so I was excited to learn they are back in stock. I need to place an order tonight and hope I can snag them. I love zinnias. I think I can deal with today now. The dog has a terminal diagnosis but is trying to hang in there. Today, my husband is to get the pins (more like rods by the size) out of his toes and on with the healing from his surgery. Thanks for this sweet card to start off my day!

    • Awww…thank you so much, Chris! Happy to hear from you. Sounds like you’ve got a lot going on. Hope it all goes well for your husband and pup (and for you). ♥

  5. I love all of the different elements you used for this beautiful card. So pretty. Enjoy your day!
