Grateful for You with Layered Beauty

With the arrival of my Wow! Embossing Powders on Monday, I was excited to break into them and showcase them on a card. Like I was playing a piano, I bounced my fingers along my desk while thinking about what stamp set I would use. Rap, rap, rap. The beautiful, repetitive rhythm helped me to decide that I was going to play with the Layers of Beauty stamp set. Here’s the card I made:

On a piece of Bubble Bath cardstock, I stamped the large, floral image with Versamark ink, sprinkled it with black embossing powder and set the embossing with my heat tool. I cropped the flowers with the coordinating Layers of Beauty Dies. So easy! Here’s a look at the Layers of Beauty Bundle:

Layers of Beauty Bundle, Stampin Up!, 163519The Layers of Beauty Bundle is on sale through the end of June (a 20% discount on all three elements in the set – the stamps, the dies and the decorative masks). As you can see from the sample above, the decorative masks add LOVELY artistry to the flowers, but I also quite like the simple outline of the flowers with the black embossing powder. Here’s a closer look:

The sentiment on my card, also from the Layers of Beauty stamp set is cropped with the label punch from the Labeled with Love Bundle. There are two options with this bundle:

Labeled with Love - A or B

If you love punches, B is a great option. If you love dies and discounts, then A is for you. During the June sale, the bundle is offered at a 20% discount off retail. How exciting! To check out my post about the bundles that are offered with either punches or dies, click here.

Beautiful Layers. I framed my flowers by a Gray Granite page from the Lily Pond Lane 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, a thin layer of Bubble Bath and a Basic Black Perennial Postage frame. I accented my project with a trio of silver gems from the Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems.

If you love the classic mix of Bubble Bath, Gray Granite and Basic Black as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
