You’re the Best, Countryside Inn

The card I made to share with you today came together very quickly – because I CASE’d a card I shared with you back in 2022. When you CASE (Copy and Share Everything), you find inspiration in the colors or theme or layout of a project you love and then make that project your own. It’s always kind to give credit to the creator who inspired your project. Here’s the card I made:

Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper is one of the many packs of paper that are being offered at a 15% discount during August. It’s been a while since I’ve reached for these papers, but I’m glad I did it for today’s project. Such a great pack! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper:

I accented my card with Balmy Blue Opaque Sparkle Dots to add a little shine to the card and to coordinate with the sentiment circle and frame around the base panel on the card. Here’s a look at the 2023-2025 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots:

  1. I really love this look! Gives the “screen” style a new edginess.

  2. Brian I still say you’re the King of DSP!! I love this layout , not to mention the DSP. I have the Countryside Rose so I may have to give this layout a try! 🙂

  3. I love the layout – what are your measurements for the angled cuts on the DSP? Thanks for sharing – I CASE many of your cards.

    • Hi Marsha! Thanks! This isn’t going to be the answer you are looking for, but – I just placed the paper in my trimmer at an angle and eyeballed each cut. The wider sides are about 3/4″ to 1″, and the shorter sides are between 3/8″ and 1/2″. Hope that helps.

  4. I love this card and technique. I need a sympathy card and I think this would be very soothing. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Both cards are beautiful and perfect for a quick card! Thanks for the inspo!
