A Feeling Better Kind of Day

I’m kind of a maverick in the fun folds world – well known for my original, complex fun folds. Last week I showed you a project I made with my “just cut 2-1/4″ off one side of the card base” technique (you can see that project here). If you were wow’d by that creative design (how could you not?), then brace yourself for today’s “just cut 1-1/2″ off one side of the card base” fun fold. I can’t be stopped! Here’s the card I made to share with you today:

My card showcases two panels from the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper, a carryover pack of papers featured in the 2024 Annual Catalog – and currently marked 20% off in Stampin’ Up!’s Seasonal Sale that ends tomorrow. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this gorgeous pack of papers:

The front of my card features the first design on the top row, and the inside panel showcases the fourth design on the bottom row. Such beautiful pages in this pack of papers!

I didn’t realize carryover Designer Series Papers in the 2024 Annual Catalog were a part of the Seasonal Sale until I could see the items in my online store yesterday. I am so excited to see that the sale includes these great products!

The sentiment on the outside and inside of my card are pulled from the Comforting Thoughts stamp set that was introduced as an Online Exclusives product earlier this year. Here’s a look at this stamp set:

This is such a great stamp set, don’t you think? The sentiments are perfect for so many things we need to say but don’t ever want to.

I know you are wow’d by the fun fold I’ve shared today. Because I’m a giving and loving person, here are the measurements for the card I’ve shared today (starting with the card base and working up to the sentiment):

• Blueberry Bushel – 5-1/2″ 7″ scored at 4-1/4″
• Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (inside) – 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
• Blueberry Bushel (inside) – 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″
• Basic White (inside) – 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
• Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (outside) – 2-5/8″ x 5-3/8″
• Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (sentiment) – 2-5/8″ x 3/4″
• Blueberry Bushel (sentiment) – 2-3/8″ x 1-5/8″
• Basic White (sentiment) – 2-1/4″ x 1-1/2″

I lined up the sentiment so it would sit nicely over the framed panel inside the card. I added three Blueberry Bushel gems from the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack. Such a perfect accent!
