Quick update from yesterday – thank you for all the birthday wishes for my Mom. She was surprised with a bunch of beautiful cards from our Pumpkin in the Fungeon group – she was so excited to receive them! If you missed the birthday card I made for her, you can see it here.
Today I’m sharing – not one – two cards with the gorgeous flowers from the new Mixed Media Florals Bundle. I received both of these cards last year from amazing supporters at Stampin’ Up! in recognition of my achievements during the 2023-2024 Stampin’ Up! year. Both are lovely cards that showcase the floral images in very different ways, so I am thrilled to share them with you today.
Here are the cards I received:
The card on the left was sent by Sara Douglass (CEO of Stampin’ Up!) and Shelli Gardner (Cofounder and board chair of Stampin’ Up!), and the second is from Heather Lambert (demonstrator support manager assigned to the Southeast). While I’m sure both cards were designed by Stampin’ Up!’s design team, I adore both as if they were designed and hand-crafted by these amazing ladies.
I am going to share a little more about each of these cards, but I first want to show you the stamp set showcased on both. The large flower images on these cards are pulled from the Mixed Florals stamp set in the Mixed Florals Bundle. Here’s a look at the gorgeous flowers in this set:
The PERFECT sentiment on the second card is from the coordinating Mixed Labels stamp set in the Mixed Labels Bundle. Here’s a look:
If you love these bundles as much as I do, then you are certain to also love the coordinating Designer Series Paper – it’s not featured on either of these cards, but you can see it here.
Congratulations
Here’s a closer look at the card from Sara and Shelli:
I love a card with a diagonal design – what an easy way to add interest and style to a simple card! The mix of Petal Pink (from the Country Lace Designer Series Paper) and gold foil are stunning (although the foil looks more yellow in my photo), and I adore how the flowers are simply stamped on the Designer Series Paper.
The sentiment is from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set, and the Basic Beige band is a link between the two panels.
You’re Pretty Wonderful
Here’s a closer look at the card I received from Heather:
I love the monochromatic design of the card – the base is Shy Shamrock, and the flowers are stamped with Shy Shamrock. How fun to invert the flowers on either side of the card. The glimmer paper behind the sentiment is also Shy Shamrock – from the 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Specialty Paper – a fun accent to add a little pizzazz! The sentiment is showcased on a 2″ circle, a perfect fit!
I love the fonts in the sentiment on this card – and I especially love the mix of print and handwritten letters. The words, themselves, are pretty special, too. Awww, shucks – thanks!
Here are some of the products showcased in these projects:
