Welcome to DAY TWO of Stampin’ Up!’s FREE SHIPPING promotion. For just three days, Stampin’ Up! is offering FREE SHIPPING on orders over $75 (before shipping and taxes). There are SO MANY reasons to place an order today – I shared a list of them yesterday (if you missed that post, you can see it here).
One of my tips for getting the most out of this FREE SHIPPING promotion is to take another look at the current bundles that will no longer be offered with a 10% discount when the new catalog launches (while the stamp sets and dies/punches) for might carry forward, catalog bundles will not carry forward with the 10% bundled savings. You can see all bundles here. Perhaps that’s why I reached for the three-part Layers of Beauty Bundle to make this card to share with you today:
I’m pretty sure my card was unintentionally inspired by two Stampin’ Up! designs – (1) the orange banner designed for the new Stampin’ Rewards Program and (2) the sample project in the product photo for the Layers of Beauty Bundle. I cannot deny the similarities. Here’s a look at the Layers of Beauty Bundle, which will be offered with a 10% discount until May 5 when the new catalog launches (the individual elements will be offered individually, but the bundled offering goes away):
The Layers of Beauty Bundle includes the Layers of Beauty stamp set, the Layers of Beauty Dies and the Layers of Beauty Decorative Masks. That THREE products in with a 10% discount in the bundle. With the bundled savings, you pay $56.50 – without it, you will pay $63. DON’T MISS OUT!
I’ve shared two other cards with this gorgeous arrangement of flowers (you can see one here and the other here), but I’ve never added color with the decorative masks until today. I used blending brushes to add Peach Pie and Shy Shamrock to the stamped image with the coordinating stencils. I can’t tell you how exciting it is to peel away the masks to see the detailed colors – the result is phenomenal! Here’s a closer look:
I love how the decorative masks layer shades of the same color on the image. If you love the mix of Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock and Basic Gray as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
I played around with a little twine and some silver ribbon, but I opted to accent my beautiful flowers with three Basic Gray pearls from the Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls.
Bundles: Layers of Beauty Stamps: Layers of Beauty Papers: Basic Gray, Peach Pie, Basic White Inks: Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock, Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark Accessories: Layers of Beauty Decorative Masks, Layers of Beauty Dies, Blending Brushes, White Wow! Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

Lovin’ those peachy orange roses. Beautiful details.
Thank you so much, Mary! The details from these decorative masks are really amazing.
Pretty card with sweet sentiment. Enjoy your day!
Thank you, my friend! It was a fun one to make. ♥
Hi Brian
Great job using the masks and blending brushes!
Love your color combinations!
Thank you so much, Dawn! I tried it with Petunia Pop at first, but the flowers were too dark (either because of the color or because I was heavy-handed with the blending), but I decided to try peach on my second round.
Pretty card…love the colors together….
Thank you so much, Linda! ♥
