Yesterday I shared a sweet-and-simple card that combines the Peaceful View stamp set and Full of Life 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper – such a winning combination! If you missed that post, you can see it here. At the end of yesterday’s post, I told you I’d share another card with the same stamp set and papers today. Here’s that card:
I love this background stamp – it’s especially lovely when showcased on the right papers. I didn’t just leave it there, though, like I did yesterday. I added another element to add interest to the background panel – I cropped it with the large oval die in the Impressions Abloom Dies. Here’s a look at the Peaceful View stamp set:
After I stamped the image multiple times with Secret Sea ink and my Misti (for full concentration of the image), I cropped the center of the peaceful scene with the large oval from the Impressions Abloom Dies. I also cropped the framed oval in Basic White to add a layer to my card. Here’s a look at the Impressions Abloom Bundle, which includes these incredible dies:
Here’s a closer look at the thin frame created below the popped up element on my card:
In yesterday’s card, I stamped the tree on a panel pink and orange page from the Full of Life 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Today’s card features another page of the same Designer Series Paper but with different colors. Here’s the page I used for the focal panel on today’s card:
The dark green water coloring shows in the grass on my card, although it’s hard to see in the photos. Here’s a look at all of the colors (and there are a lot) and patterns in the Full of Life 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper:
I framed the 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ focal panel with Basic White and Secret Sea before mounting it on a Thick Basic White card base. I added a sentiment with Secret Sea ink and the Simply Said stamp set and a trio of Secret Sea gems from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls for a little shine.
Stamps: Peaceful View, Simply Said Papers: Full of Life 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, Secret Sea, Thick Basic White Inks: Secret Sea Accessories: Impressions Abloom Dies, 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls, Stampin’ Dimensionals

You have certainly accomplished that here Brian! Stunning card!
Awwww…thanks, Barbara! I was concerned this background stamp was a one-and-done stamp, but there are SO MANY more ways to showcase it. It’s a winner!
Lovin’ that little white rim showing around the oval!
Thanks, Mary! ♥
Adding the oval is a great touch. I love this beautiful card. Enjoy your day!
Thanks, my friend! ♥ I had fun with this one and love how the oval worked for me.
That subtle elevation really makes this card a stand out. Love it!
Thanks, Cindie! It’s a fun way to add a little spotlight. ♥
