The Fungeon is overflowing with Holiday Cheer! With my pre-order goodies from the Holiday Mini Catalog spread out around me – and my product shares launching this week – I’m surrounded by festive colors, patterns, and sparkle. BUT… I challenged myself to create a gorgeous Christmas card using only products that are already available for purchase. Challenge accepted – and I’m happy to share the joy-filled holiday card I designed:
My card brings together a mix of products that are brand new (the dies and papers) and some fabulous finds that are currently discounted – the stamp set is part of the Last Chance sale, and the embellishments are marked down in the In Color Sale. Links to these sale items are provided at the base of this post.
The gorgeous label (with that beautiful embossed edge!) and the cluster of flowers and leaves are cut from the Label Me Grateful Dies, part of the Label Me Grateful Bundle introduced in July’s Online Exclusives launch. Here’s a look at this incredible, must-have bundle:
While the die-cut images are designed with a Fall theme, they work beautifully for Christmas – don’t you think? I added a fun little twist by snipping a small circle of Darling Duckling cardstock and taping it behind each flower. It masks the centers and adds a cheerful pop of color. Here’s a closer look at the arrangement of flowers and leaves on my card:
The flowers are gorgeous, but we can’t overlook the sentiment – I love it! It’s from the Everyday You & Me Bundle, which is part of the Last Chance Sale right now.
Now here’s the twist… you should NOT purchase this bundle. Why? Because both the stamp set and coordinating dies are discounted separately in the Last Chance Sale – buying them individually will save you more!
Everyday You & Me stamp set (#166629) – was $24.00, now $21.60
Everyday You & Me dies (#166633) – was $24.00, now $14.40
Now, let’s take a look at the papers I combined to create the beautiful backdrop for this label…
The 3″ x 4-1/4″ panel of forest trees comes from the much-adored Weekend Adventures Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this wonderful pack:
The 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer between the focal panel and the card base is from the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper – LOVE! This paper is also part of the In Color Sale because it features Timid Tiger, which drops the price from $12.50 to $10.63. Yay for a great deal! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper:
I accented my project with a trio of Mossy Meadow dots from the Low Profile Sparkle Dots (see the product listing below). Since this pack of embellishments also includes Darling Duckling dots, it’s part of the In Color Sale – dropping the price from $9.50 to $8.08.
Pro tip: sales like this don’t last long, so grab them now and add a little sparkle to all your upcoming projects!

Hi Brian
Your card is a show stopper! Love how you added the Darling Duckling to the back of the flowers! Thanks for drawing attention to the Dsps (especially the Floral Charm) which I have still yet to purchase.
This card sure is an attention getter! This is where the swatches sure come in handy. Would never have thought of the trees from the Weekend Adventures paper and it is perfect! Good start to Christmas cards! Thanks Brian!
I world have never thought of putting these items together for a Christmas card. Thanks for showing me how to think outside the box.
*would have never (typo)
I love this card so much I gasped!
Beautiful card! It all came together perfectly and the sentiment choice is perfection!
Awesome combination of all these available resources for a joy-ful holiday card!
Wow! Nice work! Love those yellow centers!
I’m grateful for your weekly review because I missed this beautiful card on Friday. I’m so glad I got to see it today. Enjoy your day!
I am with Hilda, I missed this card until the weekly review. I, too, gasped like Mary Fish – as it is totally something I would make. I do want to try it. I also missed the adorable acorn paper in the weekend adventures paper. With my basset hound puppy I have been so behind in card making. I am spending a lot of time rescuing ribbons, embelishments as well as glue dots galore from his sharp puppy teeth. He chews through latches on plastic boxes and opens them. Bottom line, I love this card. I think my senior citizens will love it.
