As many of you know, I co-host the Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kits with my uber-talented friend, Emma Goddard. The latest round of kits was boxed up and sent out last week, and I have loved hearing from recipients who are already digging into their goodies and enjoying the video and tutorial we created. That excitement makes me even more excited about the kits—it’s always a good time!
The last kit features projects from the Gathering Moments Bundle and coordinating products. I loved designing the projects for this kit so much that I couldn’t stop with just the projects in the kit. Today I’m sharing the special tags that accompanied the kits I mailed out.

I love making unique tags to tuck into the kits and shares I mail out. What better way to say, “thank you” than with a beautiful sentiment and an Autumn-appropriate, over-sized oak leaf?!
Here’s the tag I designed for the kits:
Pretty Peacock is not one of the featured colors in Gather Together Specialty Designer Series Paper, so I didn’t reach for it when I designed the projects for the kit. I love it so much for Fall that I couldn’t help but to include it for the thank you tag!
Here’s how I built this sweet tag:
- I cropped the leaf with the Gathering Moments Dies and then ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.
- I added two 1/2″ strips of cardstock to the leaf – Cajun Craze and Gold Foil.
- I stamped the sentiment from the Gathering Moments stamp set with Cajun Craze ink and cropped it with the 2-1/4″ circle die from a recent Paper Pumpkin Add-on. I added it to the leaf with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Repeat over and over and over.

When I bundled the kits for those who ordered the Super-Awesome Kit (the kits include the Gathering Moments Bundle), I was able to tuck the thank you tag into a little fold in the tissue paper:
I didn’t plan the little tuck in the tissue paper – it just happened and gave me the perfect place to add the special tag.
When I make multiples of a project, I like to line them up on my craft table to grab a photo of them together. Here’s a look at my “infinity shot” of the tags on my craft table:
I love when a tag can easily inform a card design. This leaf could EASILY be added to the front of a card (minus my signature, of course) for a lovely thank you card. Don’t you think?!
