A Spooky Sweet Fun Fold

I’ve made a fun card with a super-simple fun fold – always a great way to add a little extra interest! My card features several pages from the Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Paper and a sentiment from the Fright Night Bundle. Here’s the sassy, fun Halloween card I made to share with you today:

Here’s a look at the fun pages in this lively pack of papers:

Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up! 166191Before we move on to the sentiment and fold of the card, I want to point out one update I made to the Pumpkin Pie panel on my card. This panel was cut from one last page on the bottom row above (featuring several vignettes of fun Halloween images). The white area around the frame was distracting from my festive flamingo, so I colored the white space with a Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends marker. Such an easy (and impactful) additions! Here’s a closer look:

The sentiment on my card is heat embossed on Gray Granite cardstock with the Fright Night Bundle and cropped with the coordinating banner die. I added a second banner—cropped from the Petunia Pop page of the Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Paper—to give a little lift and dimension to the sentiment. So fun! Here’s a look at the Fright Night Bundle:

The sentiment on the inside combines “too cute to spook” from the Sweet Halloween stamp set and “Eat, Drink & Be Scary” from the Fright Night stamp set. Here’s a look at the Sweet Halloween stamp set:

Sweet Halloween, Stampin' Up!, 166793I finished my card with five purple Shimmer Star Foam Stickers—a playful accent that adds just the right amount of sparkle and shine.

Simple fun folds are such an easy way to elevate a card, and this one adds a delightful surprise for anyone who opens it. Between the playful colors, the whimsical imagery, and a little Halloween shimmer, this project captures the spirit of spooky season perfectly.
