Cozy Christmas Paper Pumpkin Alternative (part 2)

On Tuesday I shared two alternative projects I made with October’s Cozy Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit. If you’d like to see those projects, CLICK HERE. Those cards stayed pretty true to the kit designs – I just moved some elements around between the designed cards. Today’s card flips things around a bit (literally!) and puts the spotlight on the incredible sentiment-centered stamp set that came with the kit.

Here’s a fun alternative project I made with the Cozy Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit:

I wasn’t entirely sure where I was headed when I started stamping all over the Basic Beige panel from the kit, but I knew I wanted the repetition of “MERRY CHRISTMAS” to take center stage. Score! I love how this bold, sentiment-filled background came together.

At first, I worried the green felt design on the ornament might compete with the detailed background I’d created. The solution? I simply turned it over to reveal the clean white side before layering it with Cherry Cobbler. That little flip completely changed the look—and I love it!

Here’s a closer look at the ornament and background on my card:

I added a single sequin from the kit to the center of the ornament for just a touch of shine. It’s a small detail, but it perfectly finishes off the design.
