Brian’s Week in Review: November 16, 2025

Brian's Week in ReviewWelcome to my Week in Review! Each Sunday, I like to share a quick recap for those who don’t follow along every day—and a little extra behind-the-scenes for those who do. You don’t want to miss these extras! ♥

A Really Big Week

I don’t like to publicly announce an empty house, so I haven’t mentioned my big plans for this past week on my blog, but we were in Las Vegas this week for Stampin’ Up!’s Leadership Event – and we stayed a few days after for a little site-seeing and extra vacation. I loved connecting with team members, long-time friends. Emma was there, and we have an incredible story to share (and I’m sure we grabbed some great pictures). Because I just got back last night, I wrote this post more than a week ago…so no pictures to share just yet.

Back Stage Vegas

Over the coming days, I will share some fun photos with you! I promise.

Enough about me. Let’s get back to the week in review. Here’s a look at the projects I shared with you this week (don’t miss the bonus add-ins!) …

Monday

On Monday I launched my Holiday One-for-One Swap, and I hope you’ll participate – but time’s ticking. You don’t have to make 10 cards or even 5 cards. Send me one card you’ve made, and I’ll send you another card in return. The deadline is November 22. To learn more, click on the image below:

Tuesday

On Tuesday I shared a fun Santa card that showcases the whimsical side of the Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper. The card is simple, but there are still several fun elements you’ll want to check out. Here’s the card I shared with you on Tuesday:

Wednesday

With the influx of projects with the Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper over the past week (makes sense since it’s back in stock, right?!), I took a pause from new projects on Wednesday to offer a closer look at the colors in the pack of papers.

Thursday

I really enjoyed making this floral card to share with you on Thursday:

Brushed with Beauty Bundle, Words of Beauty Bundle, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingNot only do I love the words in the Words of Beauty Bundle, but the flowers were fun to work with and arrange on the card.

Bonus: I want to give you a little background on how I assembled the elements on my card – in case it helps you with your cardmaking. I positioned everything on my card front to ensure it fit where I wanted it before gluing down the large flowers. I added the first Secret Sea strip with Mini Glue Dots to give it a little lift, added the “just” with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (leaving a little space at the bottom). I then added Mini Glue Dots to the bottom strip and tucked it under the popped up “just.”

Friday

On Friday I shared a super-fun, super-simple card I made with the Big Little Things stamp set and the Swirled Designs stamp set, new in the November Online Exclusives offering. Here’s the card I shared with you on Friday:

  • Swirled Designs Dies
  • Banner Sayings Stamp Set
  • Big Little Things Stamp Set
  • Hobby Haven Specialty Designer Series Paper
  • Creative Haven Dies

Here’s the card I shared with you yesterday:

If you love the vibrant mix of Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
