Welcome to DAY TWO of my Holiday One-for-One Card Swap. For several weeks in November, I ran to my mailbox each day to collect the GORGEOUS cards you sent for the card swap I hosted. Today I have the pleasure of sharing two of them with you. In a series of several posts over the next couple of weeks, I will share each of these beautiful cards with everyone. There’s so much wonderful inspiration to share!

2025 Holiday One-for-One Card Swap, Hosted by Brian King

I love these swaps because they showcase beautiful projects from card makers at ALL SKILL LEVELS – some are brand new to the craft, and others have been creating for years. Please look them over, admire their beauty and then let the creators know how beautiful their cards are (I already know you’ll be kind with your comments, but I am going to request it, anyway).

If you participated in the swap and received one of these cards, now is a great time to let the designer know how much you love the card they made for you. If you don’t see the card you received here, please wait to comment about that card when it shows up on my blog – that way, the creator of that card will be sure to see your comments. ♥

If you missed the previous posts with the projects from the Holiday One-for-One Card Swap, you can see them here:

It’s rare that I receive two similar cards during these swaps. While the fold of these is similar, though, the designs are beautifully unique. The participants let me know they were inspired by a fancy fold by Susan Campfield, so I’m going to share a link to her instructions below (because I know you’ll want to make this card). The participants made these cards their own, and I love what they’ve made! Here’s a look at the two cards (I’ve included multiple shots to show you how the cards open):

I didn’t realize this when I took these photos, but this fancy fold creates an easel (the thin band can tuck into the strip on the inside of the card to stand it up. I wish I’d seen that when I received them and took these photos.

Million Sales Retreat - Day 2 Make-and-Takes

Susan Campfield (crafting between Julie DiMatteo and me above) inspired this fold in an incredible video she shared on YouTube. I can’t always give you the instructions for the fancy folds I receive in the swap. Since I know who inspired these cards, I can share the details so you can make this card for yourself. What do you think of Kevin’s and Melly’s cards? Aren’t those incredible?! Please leave a comment below to let these artists know how much you love their heartfelt creations.
