When I was growing up, there was no Elf on a Shelf – and there was no Buddy the Elf. I have to wonder how I ever made it through the holidays!
The card I’m sharing today is one of the silliest cards I’ve ever made, but there’s something I really love about it. I stamped and colored six elves from the Festive Friends Bundle to create this Christmas wreath, and it makes me smile every time I look at it.
A Little Back Story
While working on projects with Emma Goddard for our Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kits, I’ve learned a lot about Emma’s style. She can turn just about any flower, leaf, or branch into a wreath. She loves a wreath.
Inspired by her consistent ingenuity, I decided to try something a little unexpected and created a wreath of elves. So fun!
Here’s a look at the Festive Friends Bundle:

Color Inspiration
Daffodil Delight and Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends were perfect for the main characters on my wreath. I colored each of the stumpy little elves to match the outfit worn by Buddy the Elf in Elf, one of my favorite reasons the holidays have arrived.
If you want a good laugh from a silly movie with a lot of heart, I highly recommend giving it a try. Here’s a look at the movie poster:
Building the Wreath
I carefully positioned the elves in a circle on my craft table, added Post-it Tape to the front to hold them together, and then secured them on the back with regular tape. I filled the back of the Elf Wreath with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added it to a 4-5/8″ square panel of Shy Shamrock cardstock.
My wreath of elves deserved a big, beautiful bow. I pulled these bows from November’s Paper Pumpkin Kit and colored them with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends. I finished the card with a sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set and a few Poppy Parade Dear Dots.

Final Thoughts
This card may be silly, but it perfectly captures the fun and whimsy of the holiday season. Sometimes it’s okay to lean into the playful side of Christmas crafting and make something that simply makes you smile. If you love projects that don’t take themselves too seriously, this little wreath of elves might be just the inspiration you need.
