Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. A handmade Valentine’s card is always a treat – but a gift with a handmade tag is just as wonderful. Today I’m sharing a sweet tag I made using some new products alongside a few cherished, long-time favorites.
I played with several colors and papers before landing on this combination of pinks and reds, and I couldn’t be happier with how these tags turned out. Here’s the sweet Valentine’s tag I’m happy to share with you today:
The base of the tag is comprised of 24 small circles connected in a 2-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ panel. I cropped this panel from Strawberry Slush cardstock using the Lovely Arrangements Dies. Boy, do I love this die! It creates so much texture and interest with very little effort.
Here’s a look at the Lovely Arrangements Bundle, which includes this incredible die:
If you’re wondering how this die works on a card, I shared a project last month that uses it in a card design. You can click the image below to see that original post and get another look at how versatile this die can be:
The sentiment on my tag comes from the Special Delivery Paper Pumpkin Kit from January 2026. It arrived just in time for me to make these sweet Valentine’s tags. Here’s a look at the stamp set that came with the kit:

I stamped the sentiment on Pretty in Pink cardstock and cropped it using a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. To help frame the sentiment without blocking the beautiful design from the Lovely Arrangements Die, I added a punched circle of Vellum cardstock behind it. The Poppy Parade banner that extends behind the sentiment was also pulled from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
If you don’t yet have the Stylish Shapes Dies – a long-time favorite in my craft room – you may want to give them a look-see. This versatile set includes circles, squares, and banners that I reach for again and again. Here’s a look at the Stylish Shapes Dies:
While the tag itself is adorable, it’s really the mix of pinks that brings all the elements together. If you love this combination of Pretty in Pink, Strawberry Slush, and Poppy Parade as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Last Thoughts
Handmade tags are one of my favorite ways to add a personal touch to gifts, especially around Valentine’s Day. They’re quick to make, easy to customize, and a great way to use dies and scraps you already love. This color combo is definitely one I’ll be reaching for again.
