Hey, Cute Bugs!

I’ve had the pieces-parts for this card sitting on the edge of my desk for more than a month. I’m so excited it finally made its way into a finished project – and I absolutely love it!

Here’s my card, which measures 7″ x 8-1/2″ (scored at 4-1/4″):

My card starts with three wonderfully large letters from the Party Alphabet Dies (the “H” measures 1-1/2″ wide and 2-1/4″ tall). The alphabet dies are sold separately or as part of the Party Dies Bundle for 10% off both.

The base of my card features a playful picnic table plaid from the Cute Bugs Designer Series Paper. The colors and patterns in this pack are bright, cheerful, and perfect for spring and summer projects.

Each of the adorable characters decorating my letters was cropped from the first page of that paper using the Sweet Bugs Dies from the Sweet Bugs Bundle.

To finish it off, I added three Poppy Parade dots from the Dear Dots embellishments. What a fun, versatile pack of dots!

This card makes me smile every time I look at it – bold letters, happy plaid, and the cutest little bugs marching across the front. Sometimes letting those pieces sit on your desk for a while is exactly what they need before they become something special.
