All good things must come to an end – and today is the final day of projects from our most recent InKing Royalty card swap. Yay!
I love my InKing Royalty team. My talented and generous team members regularly share projects in our InKing Royalty Facebook group – a fun, supportive space for stampers who’ve signed up with me or with members in my first and second levels. While I absolutely love seeing their creativity online, there’s truly nothing like receiving a handmade card in the mail.
Last month, I hosted a card swap with my team to share creative inspiration with one another. Participants designed a card using current products and sent me 10 copies. In return, they received 10 different cards from fellow team members – plus a little gift from me. It’s always such a treat!

Today, I’m excited to share two more fancy fold cards from the swap. I’ll include multiple photos of each so you can see exactly how they open. Be sure to leave a comment to let these talented stampers know how much you love their work.
Heather Rodney
Heather sent 10 cards featuring the same fun fold but with a variety of papers, stamps, and colors. I grabbed the first one to photograph and share with you today – and let me just say, every single version is amazing.
It wasn’t until I sat down to write this post that I realized just how popular the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder has been with my team. It’s showcased on so many of the swaps – including this beauty by Heather:
Heather beautifully colored the floral images from the Gallery Blooms Bundle. The flowers are stunning on their own, but her delicate coloring truly takes them to the next level. It’s a chef’s kiss!
And if the gorgeous texture and coloring weren’t enough, wait until you see how this card opens. The interactive fold adds such an elegant surprise.
There’s so much to love about Heather’s swap card. I’m so happy she participated in the swap!

Maria Friedman
I’ve shared several of Maria’s projects over the past few weeks, and I’m thrilled to spotlight her swap creation today. What a brilliant way to showcase gorgeous Designer Series Paper!
Here’s the card Maria made for the Royals card swap:
The Designer Series Paper forms a pouch for the card, which easily slides out to reveal the sweet card inside:
But it doesn’t stop there. Flip the card over and you’ll find a pocket – perfect for a gift card! How cool is that?!
This project is interactive, thoughtful and beautifully designed from start to finish.
Key Ingredients: Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper (#166957), Simply Beautiful stamp set (#166958), White with Gold 3/8″ Ribbon (#166979)
What do you think?! Do you see some products or techniques that you can’t live without?! Aren’t these projects inspiring and wonderful?!

Awww…thanks so much, Barbara! ♥
What a stunning card! Would there be a link to Heather’s instructions for this card’s fun fold? It’s very inspiring as well.
Hi Mary Jo. I don’t have the instruction for this fold, but I found one that is very similar (the fold is in a different place, but the instructions are very adaptable). Hope this helps: https://simplysimplestamping.com/pop-out-fun-fold-card-wow-them/

Wow! Heather has some mad coloring skills! That card perked me up this morning! And the many surprises on Maria’s card- I love that both the top and the bottom on the pull out have sentiments, too. So very pretty.
