Paradise Garden in Berry & Blackberry

While we inch our way toward March 23 – when many of the Online Exclusives bundles will be back in stock – I’m sharing a project I’ve made with one of the new bundles that is currently available. And trust me, this isn’t a “filler” bundle.

The Garden Poetry Suite Collection deserves a spot at the top of your wish list from the new offerings. The bundle, the paper and the embellishments are all incredible.

Here’s the card I made to share with you:

Paradise Garden Bundle, Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingThe 3″ x 4-1/4″ panel of Basic White at the center of this card is embossed with the Paradise Garden Embossing Folder, which is included in the Paradise Garden Bundle. While the hybrid folder is designed to also work with a die that cuts some of the embossed leaves, I wanted a clean, uninterrupted panel for this card.

Here’s a look at the Paradise Garden Bundle, which includes a gorgeous stamp set, a complete set of dies with great label shapes and a hybrid embossing folder that works with one of the dies (or beautifully on its own).

Paradise Garden Bundle, Stampin' Up!, 167121I inked the flowers from the Paradise Garden stamp set with Berry Burst ink and then added a little Blackberry Bliss to the center of each stamp with a Sponge Dauber. That small touch created a gorgeous blend of color when the flowers were stamped.

Paradise Garden Bundle, Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingI surrounded the flowers with two leaf stamps from the set, inked in Shaded Spruce and cropped with the coordinating dies. A scattering of Purple Fine Shimmer Gems finished the arrangement with just the right touch of sparkle. It’s such a beautiful, rich color combination.

Originally, I planned to accent the focal panel with the purple floral pattern from the Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper, but you know how my plans usually go. That pattern competed too much with the stamped arrangement, so I flipped the paper over and used the watercolored pattern on the back instead. Score!

Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper:

Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up! 167113I pulled all three colors in today’s card directly from the paper: Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss and Shaded Spruce. If you love this rich combination as much as I do, I hope you will save this one for future reference.

Last Thoughts

The Paradise Garden Bundle offers so much built-in texture and elegance that it doesn’t take much to create something truly striking.

The hybrid embossing folder alone adds incredible dimension, and pairing it with the rich floral images and jewel-toned colors creates a card that feels both classic and luxurious.
