Welcome to my Week in Review!
Every Sunday, I love taking a few minutes to look back at the projects, moments and little highlights from the week – perfect for those who don’t follow along every day and a fun, behind-the-scenes peek for those who do. And yes… there are always a few extras tucked in here just for you. ♥
A Little Time in Seattle
I am on my way back from an incredible week in Alaska with my Stampin’ Up! friends. I will share photos with you later in the week, but I’m excited to share a couple of pictures from our stay in Seattle last weekend. What a treat!
For starters all was right in the world as Emma and I were reunited. As you know, Emma and I have been friends for several years and work together on the Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kits. We chat almost daily while one of us or both of us is crafting.
Jeremiah and I took a walking tour of Seattle, enjoying time at the Space Needle and Pike’s Place Market.
On Saturday, Sheryl Sharp and her husband Stan picked up Jeremiah and me and took us outside of Seattle for a guided tour of some amazing parks.
We drove up to Snoqualmie Falls and enjoyed a small hike down to the base of the gorgeous falls.
And then a short drive to Coulon Beach Park for a walk along the gorgeous shores of Lake Washington, followed by fish & chips and clam chowder with incredible hosts.
Back to My Week in Review…
This week was filled with lots of new products, creative alternatives and layered projects that made me so happy to share. Let’s take a look back at the projects I shared with you this week…
Monday
I kicked off the week with a fun gatefold card that features a gorgeous panel and a single streetlight from May’s Paper Pumpkin. I’ve shared lots of alternative projects from this kit over the past week – even if you aren’t a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, I hope you are inspired by the card elements I’ve shared.
Who wouldn’t love to receive this card? It would make such a warm welcome for a new neighbor or a sweet greeting for guests staying in your home. So sweet, so simple.

Tuesday
There’s always something exciting about the launch of new products and the refresh of a Last Chance sale. On Tuesday, I introduced you to June’s Product of the Month, the Wild Bunch stamp set.
Here’s a look at this ADORABLE set that can be yours for $5 with a $75 order (before shipping and taxes):
In my post, I also shared a look at June’s kits (now available) and gave you a heads up about the Last Chance sale refresh.

Wednesday
Peek-a-blooms! On Wednesday, I shared a Scalloped Window Box decorated with even more scallops from the Scalloped Blooms Bundle. While I loved the scallopiness of it all, I really love the papers I used to build the design.
If you want to see more about this project and how I carefully layered these scallops, CLICK HERE.
Week-in-Review Bonus: When decorating a window on a box or a card, remember that the recipient is going to open it up and see the other side of the design. We naturally focus on making the front beautiful, but taking an extra moment to tidy the back can make the entire project feel more polished and thoughtful. ♥
Thursday
On Thursday, I wrapped up my alternative projects with May’s Paper Pumpkin. I shared that I wasn’t initially very excited about this kit, but once I started creating with it, I had an absolute blast.
Here’s the card I shared on Thursday:

Week-in-Review Bonus: No where in all the posts with the May Paper Pumpkin alternatives have I shared a look at all four of the projects together. I saved that to share with you today:
Friday
On Friday I shared a super-fun birthday card for my friend, Mitch. I don’t love the idea of all-blue or all-brown birthday cards for men, but this one (which is, in fact, mostly blue) is also really pretty – and still perfect for a man.
Thank goodness for the Thanks Man stamp set and Balloon Festoon Dies! 🙂 The stars were actually a last-minute addition to this card, but I love the color and shimmer they add!

Saturday
Yesterday, Emma and I launched the next Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kit. What fun! We’ll be sharing some projects you’ll love with the Sunset Coast Bundle and coordinating Scenic Coast 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. Can’t wait to share these with you!
If you would like to sign up for this kit, there are three options. ♥ To learn more, CLICK HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today! I’m looking forward to another week filled with projects, inspiration and creative fun – I hope you’ll come back!
