My Resume

Brian King BRIAN KING

Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

[email protected]

About me.  I have always loved paper and ink.  It all started with notebooks and office supplies – I was a very organized child.  It all quickly evolved to stationery and stamping.  I am happy when I’m stamping, thinking about stamping or talking about stamping.

My History with Stampin’ Up!.  I was invited by a coworker to my first Stampin’ Up! workshop in December 2002.  I signed up with Stampin’ Up! on the spot and was excited to fill my craft room (a small, spare bedroom) with Stampin’ Up! supplies at a discount.  I quickly ran out of space and dropped after about a year-and-a-half.  I boxed it all up.  When I moved in 2011, I unpacked my boxes of stamps, inks and paper.  I now had space so decided to join Stampin’ Up! again.  I re-joined in 2012 because I knew it was the best way to earn free products and to earn the privilege of products at a discount.  I had no desire or intent to build a business out of this.

My commitment to you.  I am committed to offering my customers excellent customer service.  I love to share my enthusiasm for stamping.  I am also dedicated to sharing my enthusiasm and love of crafting with my team members.  I love to build meaningful and productive relationships with customers and team members.  I offer sound business advice for those who inquire and fun for all.

I can always be reached at [email protected].

Hi Brian – I just discovered your website AND YOU! I love your creativity AND your sense of humor. I also just resigned with SU- for the third time. Now I am wishing I had found you before I did and signed up under you. I don’t think you’re local to me though. I will continue to follow you online and maybe someday see you present in person.

  14. Whoa!! I am so impressed!!! I worked for Cox Communications for 7 years as a cyber agent in Vegas! Unfortunately, they moved their customer service to Phoenix in 2015 I believe it was. A lot of us were put into a “forced retirement ” situation. Wish I had discovered Stampin’Up sooner. Scot Strehlow and his sister Kira Loy are my upline. Great people! What advice would you give a new Demonstrator trying to build a successful business? I just signed up in January and feel as though I’m floundering! I go to work shops to learn and develop my skills as well as watch the wonderful videos posted by other Demonstrators. Such a gracious group of people! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Congratulations on your many achievements!!

    • Thank you for the comments, Mauri! I’m so glad you found my blog! <3 You'll have a great time with your new team - Scot is a great guy. My best advice is to try new things and find the "lane" you want to be in. Whatever you set out to do (classes, blog posts, workshops), be consistent with it so that others know exactly what to expect from you. For example, I post every day at 5 am - very few derivations from that. People know when to pop over for new content. Good luck!

    Brian,
Your card is stunning! The colors couldn’t be more perfect. I know this will bring solace to your Aunt. Bless your family at this time.
P.S. The flower reminds me of an Edelweiss.
