I am blessed each and every day that I get to share my thoughts and ideas with friends who actually pay attention to what I have to say. I’m not changing the world, but I like to think that I am spreading good cheer by entertaining and by offering good ideas to my intelligent and beautiful blog readers.
I was utterly floored this past week when I received a package in the mail from Van Wert, OH. When I saw it was Van Wert, I knew right away who had sent it. Lisa Poe participated in both of my card swaps, both times offering beautifully designed and perfectly balanced cards. When I saw her first card, I was immediately a fan. Imagine my surprise when I received these beauties in the mail:
Using Stampin’ Up!’s cellophane bags, Lisa included a delicious “white trash” dessert. I assumed (you know what happens when you assume? – you take a guess at something that’s probably wrong) the little box on the right was filled with miniature chocolates, so I immediately sent off an email to let her know how much I appreciated the gift. Ooops! The little box holds WAY more than just some little chocolates. Keep reading…
Inside this lovely, little box are an awesome present of gift tags – each created with the the Peakaboo Frames Bigz L dies and the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set.
And here are the tags all layed out. How beautiful are they?
An enclosed note suggests that the recipient (ME!!!!) either use the box of tags on my gifts OR regift them to others to use OR hang them on the tree. What a brilliant idea for a wonderful gift!
I don’t post this project to suggest that anyone should send me gifts. I was just floored by this project and felt it needed to be shared. Thank you, Lisa, for such a lovely gift.
I’ll be keeping the blog lights on over the Christmas break, so stop on by each day for good times. After Christmas and at the start of 2013, I’ve got some really great things lined up. With the introduction of the Spring Catalog and Sale-a-Bration just around the corner, what better time?
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Brian
